I just acquired a dishwasher from Quam's appliance. I had tried to go the big box route and canceled my order because the third party delivery was such a nightmare. Never again. I read the reviews for Quam's and gave a call. They quoted a very fair price with installation. I really appreciated their delivery window - not the blanket 1/2 a day like most places - and Paul was very professional calling me when they were 40 min out. I give them 15 stars for uninstalling my old dishwasher - I could tell it was a beast! After the installation, Paul patiently reviewed the instructions for using the machine. When our refrigerator went on the fritz we purchased a new one from a big box store (best buy).They delivered us a damaged fridge and told us they could not deliver a new one for over a week. At this point all our food was in coolers. We called Quams and they were super helpful and friendly. They had the same fridge at a cheaper price as the one we had purchased from the big box store. The owners of Quams (father and son) personally delivered this fridge to our house after hours and installed it for us! We cannot thank them enough. Never again will we shop at the big box store. Support local- Buy your appliances here!! I recently replaced our 30 year old dishwasher and was impressed with the selection and knowledge held by the father and son operators. Six months later when the almost-new unit started acting up with a fluke problem on the control panel, they quickly had a very competent and experienced repair tech out to look at it and replace a board, no muss no fuss.. Stuff like this is why I prefer to buy local! If I had gotten this at a big box store, I shudder to think the pain I would’ve gone through to get this fixed...
