Been working out for 4 years now. Worst experience with a gym till date. Firstly, the price and the facilities provided do not balance out. It's overpriced for what they have to offer and for that location. People looking for gym in this area, I'd also recommend to have a look at Level Up Fitness Center as well. Secondly, the company terms and contracts are the most inconvenient thing one could pay and ask for. Lastly, the staff (Manager) is the most arrogant person I've ever come across in a customer service based industry. Moreover, I was there for a short term and was promised to have a flexibility in terms of contract cancelation since the original contract states differently. In a good faith in the staff I enrolled for the gym, but when it came to canceling the membership since I was moving out they beat me down with their 'contract' and terms, irrespective of what they had promised while enrollment. They literally lure you into enrollment to get customers, post enrollment is not their problem. Please be cautious before giving into their sweet marketing and enrolling for their 'schemes'.
P.S: If the President of Anytime Fitness, who was mentioned to me multiple times when they argued about contract cancelation issues, if you're reading this please look into this matter and try to work out to maintain the quality and service Anytime Fitness was...
Read moreWhen I joined, I signed a 2 year contract. I started with a personal trainer who was awesome and I also took classes (which is Extra along with monthly fee), The additional cost was a bit frustrating, although as a single income earner management did work with me to make it more affordable. Then my trainer left. That pretty much ended my interest. No offense to new trainers but they couldn't compare to my former trainer. I stopped going and paid monthly as per contract. I thought my contract ended after 2 years. No you keep getting charged and have to personally go in and talk to a manager to end it. In addition, you need to give 30 days notice. So I ended paying way more an additional FOUR months after my contract ended btw. It is unfortunate that this company wants to keep taking your money and don't follow what their contract states. That tells me that the only way they can keep customers is to force them into a long term contracts and keep charging even after the contract ends. We earn our money and choose where we want to spend it. If this company wants us to spend it at their gym, it's time to rethink your practices. And No I...
Read moreThe staff has cheated me and lured me into the membership by stating the false terms and conditions for ending the gym membership. I was here for 6 months for my work assignment and wanted to join the gym. I communicated the same with the staff manager before joining that I would be here for 6 months and wanted to clear if cancelling the membership wont be a problem later. He reaffirmed me and promised me to end the membership without hassle and therefore I bought the membership. Now my work assignment has ended after 6 months and the staff manager has changed. The staff is now reluctant to end my membership and stated they would keep on deducting the money from my bank account unless I provide them proofs of my new lease at new location. This is really frustrating as for first two months my company is arranging my accommodation and I don't have enough proofs to prove my relocation. This is really frustrating and I felt cheated by the whole company -...
