I was very disappointed. Not great, full of tourist junk made in factories, like by Chinese communist slaves. Not cool, very few if any locally made goods. You can find this stuff cheaper on Amazon if you feel like you need this sort of thing. Best I can say for it, is that it is owned by a local. Update 2023, clearly the owner likes to counter the argument of both junk and my dislike for materials made by people involved in slave labor by doing the typical of saying that is "racist". Yes calling your detractors and their actions names is incredibly immature and type of the behavior we saw in the store from them. Any thinking person knows no one would have a problem with stuff made in China if they were not examples of slave labor there. Perhaps the owner finds this appealing, however defending their store and defending Chinese labor are not the same thing. I was disappointed in this store, now I am disgusted by an owner that can't take a criticism without calling names. A simple I am sorry you were disappointed is classy, the response below, not so much. Thanks for proving my point. Finally I guess I will just go-ahead and mention that my child was treated poorly and condescended to when we first came in the door, you will notice others have complained about the treatment of their children in this store. How the owner could find a 4 year-old holding his fathers hand a threat is odd, anyway I don't think this owner likes children. However... reader go look for yourself and you tell me where 'most' of their stuff was made. Check out the store owners 'vibe' yourself......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf youāve read a negative review about this place take it to heart! I was in this store. I got over heated and pulled my mask down to get some air as I felt like I was going to pass out. The owner did not appreciate it and loudly and in front of customers told me to go outside next time I felt like I was going to pass out. Stunned. Apparently the masks (please read CDC guidelines Mr. Business owner) are for the safety of his customers. Just what HE feels is appropriate safety because he didnāt offer me a chairā¦he offered me to leave. Sometimes there isnāt time to get to the door safely when you feel lightheaded.
I didnāt see him wiping down all the things people touched for my safety?!?!
Donāt waste your time at this OVER PRICED, RUDE store. Support a small business that wants you there and truly cares about your well-being....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really appreciate this store's commitment to safety during the pandemic and the owner researching KN95 masks to only sell what is shown to be effective. He even updates customers on social media about the CDC guidelines. I have not spent much time shopping here since I only recently discovered the store 4 months ago, but I have been buying KN95s here since then. Amazon is charging twice as much for the same masks and I also would not trust what Amazon sells. I highly encourage anyone looking to buy KN95 masks to buy them here because the owner is dedicated to following the science and only selling what works. Support your local business by buying your masks here!
I also loved The Office bumper stickers I found here and the Hammond's Candy Bars. I hope to get to shop here more...
