The management at The Villas is beyond unprofessional and unresponsive. Not once did they ever reach out to us during then entirety of our time living there (1.5 years), and later claimed they were having issues with tenant emails and “nothing was getting received”. This was only communicated to us after multiple attempts to contact them about move-out instructions. After that entire debacle, we eventually figured it out with our on-site landlord. Low and behold, our security deposit that was supposed to be sent back to us within 30 days never showed (violation of Idaho code). We messaged them, got no response, so then had to message our on-site landlord to communicate essentially as a medium. Only when we made them aware that they were in breach of not only our contract, but also Idaho’s tenancy laws, did we finally receive an email back from them. Told us that within 14 business days we’d see our deposit in the mail. 28 days later, and it still has not showed. Not sure I have ever seen a company in charge of millions of dollars worth of property appear to have absolutely no care or clue what is going on. Honestly, the apartments are fantastic. They were spacious, clean, and we loved the actual place. It’s just such a shame that the management is so incapable. Steer clear unless you’re willing to wrestle with unresponsive and unresolved issues and are okay with them breaching Idaho tenancy codes.    Read moreThese are honestly nice and spacious apartments, and generally we like ours, but my wife and I have had really poor experiences with the management. We were told coming in about how great the owners were, how good the community in the apartments is, but that doesn't really make a difference if you're apt has problems that aren't getting fixed.
Talking with other tenants here, I've found that all around the management at The Villas is unresponsive and unhelpful when it comes to getting help with maintenance (we had an issue with some plumbing that I had to fix myself and haven't had a working clothes washer since the 2 week of living here). I've heard it blamed on the software they use to manage the apartments, the particular email we sent requests with (our is Gmail), etc., but I think they just don't care once they've got you stuck in a contract.
If my apartment didn't have any problems or management took care of it quickly and easily, I don't think I'd be writing this review. Save yourself the headache, find a different...

We had really loud neighbors that we could hear fighting all the time so that was a little frustrating but the apartment itself was great. Really clean, new appliances, spacious. LOVED IT! Now management (Dave I’m talking about you my friend) is a whole different story. He was terrible with communication. Never responding to phone calls, didn’t have any answers for our questions, didn’t know what he was doing. It was really clear that he just invested in this property but had absolutely zero idea about how to run it. Any time I asked to speak to his manager or anyone above him he would get weird about it and never game me a name or number of anyone else that could potentially help. It took us six months to get our security deposit back and we never would have gotten it back if I didn’t continuously call him every day for over two weeks.
