Dickinson Frozen Foods/NORSUN — Local services in Sugar City

The only reason for me to give 2 stars is the on-site scale!!

Arrived at 1040 for a noon appointment. Told at check-in, first come, first serve, approximately 2 hours wait for a door. Ok, no problem. 1530 I walked in to get a update, told another 20 minutes. As I walked back to the truck, I noticed that there was only one other truck waiting, but I did see at least three check-in after I did... 1745, I finally got called to a door. 1940 is when I was finally scaled out and signing bills....

Contracted for 42000 lbs, loaded 43200...

The person at the window acted like she did not speak or understand English... by her reaction to some of my comments using words with more than 4 syllables, I think she was faking it, but, as I can not prove anything, that is just a guess.

Don't think I will want to return any time soon!

Avoid unless absolutely necessary!!

It's moments like these that make a driver question what some of these other distribution centers are doing, pulled in at 15 after 11am, appointment for 12pm scaled and parked just long enough to turn on my reefer and got the call for a door, backed in, waited for what felt like 10 minutes and the guy was back at my door with seal in hand. Scaled out and grabbed bills, and ready to roll and it's only 1237, mind you I been sitting here writing this review. Total time on the que, 45 minutes max with a full load 44,080! Jose and the crew on door 8, bruh i almost called him a liar they got done so fast lol. amazing job Dickinson FF, the receptionist was pleasant and friendly and very accommodating, I really wish all distribution center were this well oiled! Only five stars but I'd give them ten...

The worst. Had a Friday 12 noon appointment to pick up a frozen load to Oklahoma. (RS41318-S140806). Delayed loading. Called shipping at 4pm, 5pm and then 6pm and spoke to a gentleman. He repeatedly advised we were next to get a door. At 7pm, employees started leaving and the lights were being turned off. My driver went into the building and spoke with Mr. Gomez in shipping. He advised that we are all done for the day and will come back tomorrow. We can get loaded tomorrow as a "work in" around the Saturday scheduled appointments. What a terrible organization. We will never return to...
