I'd like to be clear in that the reason for my low rating had absolutely nothing to do with my therapist. My therapist's name was Jonathan & he made sure to address all my concerns during my appointment. Upon arrival the front staff was incredibly rude & made no effort to acknowledge our appointment. They were talking about the treatments other spa guest were getting that day, deciding who was going to do what guest & even saying "I thought she was going to do the pregnant one." Our 80 minuet massages were great but we were placed in the couple's room towards the back & during our massage we kept hearing an excessive amount of noise, what sounded like people moving heavy objects around. It made it difficult to relax. After we were through with our visit we proceeded to check out, an older, blond, shoulder length hair lady with glasses was at the counter. She was talking with another spa employee & apparently was too busy to ask us if we were ready to check out. We stood there waiting about 7-10mins. We eventually checked out as she rudely took my payment & informed me that he printer was broken & she was just going to email me my receipt. I thanked her as she did not thank us & left feeling greatly disappointed in this facility. We were made to feel more like an inconvenience than a spa guests. I left off put by the level of impoliteness exhibited by the front staff. I felt bad for putting my sister through that on her birthday weekend. Regardless of how big or small the spa is, there is absolutely no reason as to why one needs to hear the treatments or conditions of the other spa guests; privacy is paramount to a individual visiting the spa. From my experience this level of care for a guest's privacy was not exhibited at Sole'renity. The front staff was inhospitable & unpleasant, perhaps it was poor management or simply them having a bad day but the lack of amenability was enough for my sister & I to leave utterly disappointed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE to below review. The Manager contacted me and refunded me for services. She assured me that she would speak with her staff and work to improve their services. I will give the salon another chance. I'm leaving it at 2 stars until I go back to see that it has improved.
Overpriced and underserviced. The facility itself is very nice and clean. I love the dry sauna, steam room and hot tube. But the service itself was mediocre. My daughter and I got pedicures and a 20 min chair massage. For the price I would expect excellent service but to be blunt I feel that my 6 year old niece could have given a better pedicure and massage. Still, I enjoyed the experience with my daughter and was willing to just chalk it up and probably just not return. At check out I was told that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added to my bill. First, gratuity (tips) should be for when someone actually does what you paid for and does it really well. Coming from someone who worked all through high school in service jobs im well aware of the purpose of tips. I was very irritated that they just assumed I was happy with my service and wanted to charge me extra "gratuity". The ONLY reason I did not get upset with the girl is because of this COVID stuff and I know everyone can use a few extra bucks at this time so I looked at it like that. But i will not be returning to this spa. This was not my first experience there, the other times the service was just as bad but I always like to give something a few chances before I make up my mind. The only thing I would recommend is a day pass just for the saunas and hot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEDITED They did refund my money eventually. Just be aware that there is a 24 hour cancellation policy, whether they mention it to you or not.
Terrible customer service and a total rip off. I wish I could give zero stars. I called on Friday to book an appointment for pedicures on Sunday morning. I was made to give my credit card number over the phone to make the reservation, which I was concerned about to begin with. I was not told about any cancellation policy or anything on the phone call. I became very sick during my stay at the hotel and had to go home. I called the spa to cancel my two appointments and was then informed about their 24 hour cancellation policy and told that I would still be charged for services that I would not be receiving. I explained to the girl on the phone that I was sick and asked if they could make an exception. I was told she would speak to her manager and it should be waived. I just checked my bank account and I was still charged! $55 for a pedicure I did not receive!! I will not be returning and will be contesting these charges! Be careful if you have something come up, they will rip you off and...
