Sip&Gogh — Local services in Sumter

I was looking for something fun to do while visiting with my adult daughter in Sumter and I'm so glad I stumbled across Sip & Gogh. I am not the least bit artistic, and yet with step-by-step instructions from Michael, I've been able to paint three fun Christmas paintings. Friendly assistants take care of supplying us with paint and offer additional suggestions as needed. My daughter and I found the classes stress free and not the least bit intimidating -- even for an absolute novice like myself! What a wonderful activity for us to share, and right in Sumter! I especially appreciate the opportunity to learn something new in every class. We've also enjoyed being able to take home Grab & Gogh kits to complete at home -- especially convenient for me since I live in North Carolina! I went last night with my sister, who had done this a few times and it was such a fun experience! If there's one thing I love in life it's villains and this class was perfect! you don't have to have any artistic background to have fun in this class and you will still bring home an awesome piece! all of the teachers walk you through each step and will come behind you and encourage + help you with everything! The 3 hours is definitely worth it because you get to go at your own pace, and get into all the nitty gritty details. Hands down one of the best hidden gems in Sumter. Ms.Micheal and her staff are beyond patient with students that can’t even draw a stick figure (like me, ha!) and helps them produce wonderful works of art by the end. They also have homeschool and after school art lessons for kids and you can see the growth in your child as they go through those lessons.
