Riverview Golf Course — Local services in Sun City

I normally will only do a review when it is positive, but my experience at this course was so bad that it has prompted me to writ this one unfortunately.... Decent course, but be aware that even if you make a tee time reservation WITH a golf cart, it does not mean that they will have a golf cart for you when you show up. We have played there before and it was a decent course for the cost, but a couple weeks ago, we showed up and were told that they would NOT have a golf cart for us (even though they specifically asked me while making the tee-time if we need a golf cart, to which I replied "yes please". The person on the phone then said, "great, we'll see you Saturday". What made this even worse was the guy's attitude behind the counter. He could not care less. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. They should have offered at the minimum a discount on a future round since they ruined our Saturday. Oh, the guy behind the counter did offer a pull cart, which would not help us since the person I was supposed to golf with would not be able to walk the course. It's very unfortunate that they simply do not care. Perhaps if you don't live in Sun City, you get treated differently than if you do. I have been in the service industry for a long time and could not imagine treating someone like they did to me....

Let’s just start by saying if I could give this golf course 0 stars I would. I had the pleasure of speaking with “Chris” this morning in little pro shop. It’s Father’s Day and my 9 year old just wanted to ride on the cart with his dad for a round of golf no big deal they have done it plenty of times since he was 4. However policy’s must have changed (which I understand) however when I asked him to produce anything that stated kids couldn’t be on course he couldn’t. Then proceeded to tell me I had to leave of property in much more colorful words, because he couldn’t show me a reason why.

Happy Father’s Day but this golf course crush a 9 years old for wanting to ride around with his dad. I will never give my business to a place like this or to someone who employed people like “Chris” .

The guy in the pro shop had ZERO personality, a homeless guy took my ball on 11, and another homeless person bothered me on 13 and tried to setup some kind of scenario as there was another homeless person hiding in the bushes. Was in town for a business trip and just wanted to play a quick round of golf. I had to skip 3 holes because a HS team wouldn't let me play thru and informed me to just skip holes, even though I paid for 18, I got to play 15. Took me almost 3.5 hours to play because they "weren't that busy" even though it was slammed... there was a line to tee off the first hole and was told "its not that bad...."

Wont ever come back here again. People were skipping around hole to hole. Was a free for all and the course was in...
