Local Source Foods — Local services in Sun Prairie

Updating my orginal review to four stars. I had a bad experience with Local source at the beginning of March, and unfortunately there were some missteps with their customer service, and my self as well over the issue.

After speaking with a representative for the company in depth, they were able to assure me my issue would be resolved, and is being handled moving forward, and steps are being taken to mitigate.

UW Provisions has always offered quality meats and products and supplies the majority of resturants and institutions through out Wisconsin. They offer both fresh and frozen meats, poultry and seafood. Quantities can sometime be larger than desired. Prices are fair, I would not say necessarily lower than promotional prices at Madison's large variety of grocery stores but are always fair. Their Local Source Store is a little bit hidden and out of the way in Sun Prairie but once you've found it easy to return to....

I was slightly disappointed when I arrived here. I thought "local" source foods meant it was going to be all from Wiscosin but it just meant it was in America. I had also read online that it was a "market" which in my mind meant it would have a place to select the meat and have it wrapped. This was all prepacked.
