Tuesday, November 10th, I pre-purchased six movie tickets (that were purchased for specific seats) online nearly an hour before the movie was to begin. We live in Yakima so I wanted to be sure the theater didn't hit max capacity and sell out before we were able to arrive. The payment went through and my kids excitedly packed into the car, with masks in tow, ready to see our first post covid shutdown movie. We get to the theater with no time to spare and went inside the building. Technically we ran because we wanted to get food and drinks before it started and it was pouring and windy outside. I told the girls at the concessions that I purchased online but they couldn't seem to find my purchase when searching for my email address. I told them the exact seats I bought. They showed me a screen which showed two of our seats were sold to another couple and the rest were somehow available again. Many other seats were still available as well. One of the girls went to get the manager from the back. Out came a twenty-something year old boy who then tried to act like I was lying about purchasing tickets. I went to my bank app to show them how it was already paid for and saw that I was already refunded. He tried to say that happens when I don't have enough to cover the cost of the tickets but not to worry as it would be cleared by the morning. WOW. I scrolled up to the balance and showed him I had well more than enough to cover the cost. He just kept repeating it would clear by morning. He never offered to sell me any other seats. Nobody did. Nobody ever apologized. The group of 5+ workers surrounding us said nothing and everyone just watched. I am highly disappointed! My kids were so excited to finally get out of the house and have some sort of normalcy again and these workers didn't even seem to care to have willing and able to pay customers to spending money at their...

UPDATE: Upon reading my review, the district manager for Hallet Cinemas contacted me directly to discuss my issues with this theater and to offer me a movie pass for my trouble. He let me know they agreed there was an issue with the air conditioning and were working to resolve that. I very much appreciated his prompt response. Increased rating from 3 to 4 stars due to management's quick response and level of customer service he provided.

Building was clean, staff was polite. It was a bit difficult to fully enjoy the movie because it was so warm in the theater. It was 85 degrees outside and the fan only came on once in awhile. There were only about 20 people at the matinee, if the theater had been packed the heat would have been too much. As it was I was continually wiping away sweat throughout the movie. Prices were outrageous across the board. $12 for an adult matinee ticket, $7.25 for a 32oz fountain drink, $5.50 for boxed candy, $17 for popcorn 🤬 Theaters have always had large markups on concessions, but this was unbelievable, and apparently air conditioning is not included...

Me and my family love going to the movies, although our moods changed about that last night, as we were greeted with rude cashiers. We arrived a little late to the premiere and asked the cashier if the movie had started yet or if the previews were showing, she continues to say it’s started 10 min ago and rolls her eyes. We tell her we’ll go to the next showing, rolls her eyes again. After asking if the hot dogs were ready, another eye roll. We asked if there was still free refills on the large drinks, she scuffs and says yes… I mean, we come to the movies to have a good time with family and the front cashiers are ruining that with moody attitude. Regardless if you are having a bad day, you should not be giving customers a gross attitude. You woke up today, be grateful about that. I hope management can do something about...

We come here to watch the older movies. They had a 50th anniversary of blazing saddles this month and we were super elated to go and see it. The theater itself is nice and big. The concession stand has everything. The only thing I would say anything negative about is the seats. They are so upright and stringent, it's off-putting. We are so used to the theatre seats that recline back, that we may just be spoiled with it at this point.

Ever since I passed by this place, driving on Highway I-82 to LIGO at night before the pandemic outbreak, the image of this lit theater sometimes popped up in my mind. Very dream-like! I passed by again earlier this evening, and finally caught a blurred image. Funny enough, I haven't visited this very movie theater and watch a movie here yet, but one day I will.
