Primeaux RV Service Center — Local services in Sunset

I have nothing but positive things to say about Primeaux RV. We started our rv purchasing journey in late 2023. We watched videos, read articles and reviews, and talked to friends with experience. We visited many dealerships and we quickly realized, to many dealerships we were just a number and they would tell us anything we wanted to hear to try to make a sale. Primeaux RV was the only dealership we visited that made us feel like our needs, questions, and concerns were important. One year later we pulled the trigger and made our purchase with no regrets. Lauren made everything during this process pain free. A++ ON THE SALES STAFF One thing I learned early on is you buy into the dealership as much as you buy into the rv. At some point things will break, need adjustment, serviced, or you will want to add accessories. We have experienced all of these. Sierra went above and beyond for us after we needed some warranty work. She even argued on my behalf with the manufacturer after the claim was initially denied and got it overturned. While it was there, I had it serviced, and added a few add ons. Sierra always kept me informed on what was going on with diagnosis, ordering parts, estimatrd delivery date, and when work was being done. Under the circumstances all work was performed in a timely manner and the only delays were caused by the manufacturer, not Primeaux. We live in the Lake Charles area and even though we are less than 30 minutes from a few dealerships, I will be recommending to my friends, family, and to anyone reading this to make the drive and give Primeaux RV a chance before you make your buying or servicing decision. We just got our travel trailer back from Primeaux Service Center after having warranty work done. We were getting ready to leave on a two week camping trip when all of a sudden the slide stopped working. I quickly got on the phone to try and find a place locally to help us. I wasn't sure who to call, since the dealer we bought our unit from wasn’t nearby. I called the service department and was put in touch with Sierra Sonnier. From the moment we spoke she was incredibly helpful and got our camper in super fast. Drop off was easy and Sierra was up front and managed expectations-no empty promises that our camper would be ready for our trip. The entire process was smooth and Sierra checked in with me often to keep me updated. She worked with Forest River and was able to get our unit repaired, better than when we bought it new last year. Even though our trip was delayed, no fault of anyone just a big repair, I am happy this happened when it did(not out on the road with our kids) and I am confident we are ready to roll for our next vacation. Premiere Customer Service…Above & Beyond!

A HUGE SHOUTOUT to Primeaux RV in Carencro and their awesome team for coming to our assistance in a HUGE way! Within days after taking possession of our new 2025 Alliance Delta 292RL and bringing it home to Baton Rouge, we discovered the door and storage keys provided were not keyed to the same code as on the back of the lock. That’s when Primeaux’s Parts experts Tate Sonnier and Trey Hardy stepped in, on a Friday morning, investigated the problem, and found the correct coded key for our rig.

Facing heart surgery on the upcoming Monday, I communicated to them how I was unable to ride over and back to pick up the keys, and that I was anxious to have the keys prior to my surgery. Somehow, these guys worked their magic, and an hour or so later, a truck pulled up at my house and my new friend, Stephen Aucoin, presented me with the new keys! Thanks to EVERYONE who worked hard to somehow make this happen!
