I cannot tell you how incredible this experience was for not only me, but my bridal party as well. To start off with, the quality and variety of their dresses are fantastic! I was blown away by how gorgeous every single dress I tried on today was. I didn’t have a negative thing to say about any of them, because they were all so pretty and such great quality. Moving on, those ladies are so supportive and fun and they pull what you like and make you feel like a bride. They were ready and prepared when we showed up AND already had dresses pulled, all of which I absolutely loved. They had fun cards that the bridal party could hold up and they made it just a genuinely enjoyable time. They know all about alterations and what can be changed and the colors the dresses come in, etc. all of the dresses they had for me were also in my size, so I didn’t feel self conscious trying anything on. Also, can we talk about price for a minute? Holy moly! I walked out of that place with my DREAM dress, a veil, a headband, and some earrings and was STILL under my dress alone budget. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are affordable too! Also, it’s a one stop shop! You can get alterations, bridesmaid dresses, and groomsman suits there too. Highly recommended! My sister went to a chain bridal store to look for a wedding gown and we also wanted to try a local business. We gave it a shot and we were not disappointed! We scheduled an appointment, and COVID-19 mitigation strategies were closely followed. Compared to the chain store that seemed to have the same few dresses and wanted the bride to try on the more expensive gowns, Patti at Expressions in Silk asked her what she wanted and went right to work finding what matched her request. My sister left with her gown in-hand, crying tears of joy. Patti was wonderful and worked hard to find the right dresses for my sister to try. The dressing room is very large and comfortable, with plenty of space for family and friends to share their unsolicited opinions! The prices are extremely reasonable. Alterations are available at additional cost. Expressions in Silk also had a variety of exceptional wedding gowns in many styles and sizes, and a lot can also be ordered to meet size/color needs. The unique accessories, such as veils, beautiful hair pieces (broaches, tiaras, crowns, etc.) and other accent jewelry made the experience better than expected. Extra touches win the prize for Expressions in Silk! A small gift bag of goodies for the bride after the purchase was a surprise, as well as a group photo and the bride signing their wall for posterity. This cute boutique also carries formal wear for the rest of the bridal party, and I hope to go back to check out bridesmaid dresses... with my sister's...

I went to many bridal boutiques and looked all over online. However I found a more personal experience here! I was almost over trying on dresses one after the other finding pieces of what I loved on 5 different looks until I found the right dress... its definitely been way harder to get the full effect of bridal shopping with the Covid 19 sucking up all the joy of picking out a dress during the most memorable time of my life, however I found the ladies here gave me more than I could ever ask for! With these hard time we have learned to change and adapt to the new norm. But they made me feel more special than I could have asked for. As we all figure out our new ways of life I have found myself grateful for the little things and this moment was much more appreciated than they know!!!!!!! I could say I would come back soon, but in my case I hope not only because I hope to be spending the rest of my life with the man ill spend the rest of my life with. I'll definitely come back for any Other special occasions and recommend a unique, unforgettable, special moment like this place has to offer any day n time of the week!!!!!!
