Warning. This will be long.
Let me start by saying my friends and I come here and have loved our visits and carry out orders, and the only reason I can't give 5 stars overall is from tonight's visit only because it was something I'd never expect from the usually fantastic wait staff here, and I don't know if speaking to someone in store would resolve the issue.
Tonight we were a small party of 3. Trivia night was slammed (which was btw hilarious to hear, the host was very entertaining even though we didn't stay as long as we usually do to enjoy the night there) My two friends put in their orders after a small wait in which the waitress did acknowledge them even when she wasn't able to immediately take orders, and let them know shed be right with them. Orders were placed,( the same chicken quesadillas we usually get bc they're awesome so why not, no drinks ordered outside of water 🤣) and I arrived just before their chicken quesodillas were served, at which time I ordered my own. While waiting for mine, I had a family member call and informed me they were stranded and we needed to pick them up asap. When my food arrived, the waitress was moving very quickly so I wasn't able to ask for a box and the checks ahead of time. My friend went to the counter asked for a box at the front counter, and I packed up my quesadilla, and we waited or about 5-6 minutes before I said I would wait at the counter, to catch her eye, but so a not to interrupt her. The same server walked back and forth handling multiple other tables ofc, but did not acknowledge that we were standing there at all for awhile. When she stopped to ask what we needed, we informed we needed to pay, and she asked how we were splitting the table, cashed me out, and walked away, before my friend could cash out. We kept waiting, understanding that it was a busy night, but she again, ignored as we continued to stand there, waiting to finish our tab, because we truly did not want to be rude. My friend asked finally as she passed by again, if she could pay, and then was cashed out. My friend was going to set aside a separate tip on the table before we left (as we had to grab our things from the table anyway) but when the server gave her the change for the order, she said, "You shouldn't go out if you can't tip." Before she walked off. I asked if my friend had heard her, and she hadn't. And I couldn't believe that she had said that.
I usually love coming here. And when I sit to eat, there's always a tip, but if you're running around too fast for your customers to communicate with you... Then why do you assume you should receive one. Especially when they had that full intent, and not only were fully planning on it, but we're just trying to LEAVE.
I did go back in to get her name, (AFTER we walked out and I called my family and was informed they were ok) and my male friend asked the server why she was rude to me. She repeated what she said, that she said " we could see it was really busy in there and we didn't tip" and that we "weren't even her table" I was highly confused and after asking my friends later she was the only person who was with them the entire visit. Maybe we weren't supposed to be? Idk. I don't like these situations. I don't blame an entire establishment for one rude comment. But you can't go comment on pockets when the table hasn't been left, because you just didn't received a tip in hand at that moment, and assumed, voiced it to customers, while again walking off before anyone can tell u thank u or here this is for you or have a good night. We know you're busy. We weren't trying to put more on your plate.
To the server we had tonight. Please, for the love of God. Please don't take shit out on the people that walk in the door when nights are rushed. You don't know about each story that walks into the door, but that doesn't mean you don't affect them. Bc at that time I was trying not make my problems yours. It's not that we didn't know how bars worked or something. We had to leave sooner than expected.
Love this bar. Just not...

Read moreKind of a joke. Can tell they don’t take their business seriously and doesn’t seem like they want to be a bar at all. Fix the logo on your receipts so it’s right side up. At least try and look like a real business. Terrible service and atmosphere. Food is tolerable, 8 total guests in there including us. Took about 35 minutes for our food to come out…(2 sandwiches)…took forever to get a bottled beer. There were 6 people working, 2 bartenders, 1 server, 1 bar back/bus boy/food runner and 2 cooks. The place can’t be making money having that many employees working with almost the same amount of customers in the building. Pretty sure our server Jackie, was drunk, she slurred her words, interrupted as we were ordering, asked my wife 3 times if she wanted grilled or fried chicken on her sandwich after my wife specified grilled when she ordered it. Jackie spent all her time playing pool with a customer and texting and not paying any attention to the customers had to interrupt her pool game to ask for another beer and our check. All TVs showed FailArmy on them, like they only have Roku free tv and no real...
