We have taken our vehicles to JERS for probably over 10 yrs and have NEVER EVER been disappointed. Are they busy? Yes! But that is a good indication of how good they are and I don't mind setting an appointment. The prices are fair the work is top notch. I have never left there having a repair done where I felt uneasy. When you take your vehicle in for your appt they call you with an excellent explanation of the issue, they give you estimate, they resolve any questions and concerns and at the end of the day I feel assured the repair is done right. We have been with them since they had their smaller shop and since going to the big shop they still have the same great values of taking care of the customer. I recommend him to any and all of my friends and relatives and anyone who hasn't gone there yet.
June 2022 - UPDATE REVIEW Had another very successful repair to my truck and itâs AC. Good fast service accurate and fair prices. We have been going to them for well over 10 yrs from a recommendation from a friend. Havenât been disappointed at all. He has built a solid team of ASE certified techs who assess the issue and find the problem and fix it. None of this âlets throw parts at it at the customer expense and hope if fixes itâ that i hear from other people and their experiences with other shops. They have accurately diagnosed and fixed every issue I have had and found other issues too. But they are honest so they wonât just say replace everything if it doesnât need it. I donât have much to compare since I completely trust them and wouldnât even risk going anywhere else. If Jerâs were to have a catch phrase I think it would be this âSTICK WITH JERâS BECAUSE NO ONE...
Read moreHave had this issue with constant overheating since the day we first got the car back in February. The dealership could never figure what the problem was. They did all these minor fixes, but it never really solved the problem because it would just happen a day or two later. They finally âfixed itâ after the third time it happened. And the vehicle was running fine for about 8 months, then we started to have major leaks, and still more overheating. Our car was still in the warranty so I could have taken it back to the dealership but after already taking it to them and knowing what they did before, I decided it wasnât worth my time. I knew Iâd pay more money taking it somewhere else but I realized it would be worth it, because I realized that they would be able to fix the problem the first time and I wouldnât have to come back repeatedly. Not only did Jers fix the problem, but they also told me that this was a common issue that happened with most Chevy cruzes (which is what my car is). Now I know that I wonât have any more overheating issues and hopefully the rest of the repairs are just the regular oil change, tire switch outs/rotations, and alignments. I also thought this would take awhile to fix because so much was wrong with car, but once Jers diagnosed the problem, they were able to fix it within 24 hours. So it was quick too. Any more major repairs I need for this car, I am definitely taking it back to Jers, (yes it cost me a fortune, but it was worth it, because it was a one stop fix, not several stops just to fix one major issue which is what I got with the dealership) I will also be referring my friends to Jers too. I feel like I have finally found a mechanic I can trust. Thank you for...
Read moreI have rarely taken a car to a mechanic since my dad and friends taught me to work on them 50 odd years ago. However, cars have changed and some things leave me stumped. So....who do you take it to when you don't know any mechanics. Well, all you have to do is ask, I guess. Several of my friends take their cars to Jer's and highly recommended him. It was my daughter's 04 Accord, owned by her since new and now with 175,000 miles. It had a bad, bad shimmy that was showing up at different speeds over a period of a couple of weeks. It had never had transaxles replaced and I knew it was due when they were clicking on full turns. Turns out they also cause bad vibrations. Jer diagnosed it and as I have never changed axles and didn't want to learn I was happy to let him do it. Love the new shop! He changed the axles but didn't want me to take the car, yet. There was still a little shaking going on. He thought one of the axles was not true and actually changed out both - again. Really, really glad that didn't happen with me working on the car. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to have had him do the work. I've got some other tasks that I would rather have him do than me, Definitely going back to Jer's.
Several years later now and my daughterâs Honda now has 275000 miles on it and is still running great. We have 8 family cars that Jerâs now works on! I know another great mechanic and actually did volunteer work there for a charity organization that gives away cars to single moms, widows, and wives of deployed service members who otherwise wouldnât have a car. But I still take our cars to Jerâs -they are truly professional...
