Northrup Theater — Local services in Syracuse

A very fun experience. A historic theater that has been restored to it's former glory. A snack bar is available for those who want popcorn, candy and drinks. Who doesn't? It's a movie theater. They play current run movies, what more can you ask for? The owners and staff are very friendly and polite and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I live up in the mountains of Colorado but I like to drive down occasionally and ride my UTV at the sand dunes just south of Syracuse. Anytime I'm in Syracuse for a visit I make sure to visit the theater on a Friday or Saturday night to take in a movie. Thanks for keeping this historic gem...

Good current movies. Family friendly movies for the most part. Great snack bar, good popcorn, friendly & accommodating staff, clean. We've never waited in line for tickets more than 1 or 2 people at most...same with snack bar. (We don't go early to get a good seat ---it's not necessary ) . The charm & charisma of a historic theatre with all the modern amenities. I love that the community helps & supports it & keeps it running. I'm grateful to have a movie theater in town for date night! !...

It is a wonderful theater, the personnel work very hard to bring in the newest movies and have many kids movies as well as the adult movies. It is very clean, well managed. Snack bar is well run.
