We would have rated this park a 4/5 but after a very disheartening interaction with a park manager, we would give a zero if possible. Here is our story of which I have documented proof of correspondence. My husband and I stayed at the park on a Tuesday overnight stay. The reservationist was polite and friendly. He was simply a joy to speak with booking our reservation. I asked if we could pay for our stay over the phone as we did not know the exact time of our arrival. No problem! The park is tiny, but it’s extremely clean and efficient. It was a nice stay. On our way back through the area on the following Tuesday, we decided to stop again. We called the office which was closed. The greeting said DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE HERE (twice during the greeting) and it gives instructions to go to the website to request a reservation. So, I hang up and find an email address for the park manager. I let them know we wish to stay even though the office is close and I leave our phone number and the fact we had been a guest last week. I then fill out the online reservation request with our personal information including contact numbers and home address. Bases covered, right? You would think so. The following morning we begin to head out and see that the office has not opened yet. My husband I were discussing that we need to locate the park number so that we can give them our cc as soon as they open. We didn’t have a worry or concern in our hearts that we had done anything wrong. At this very moment we see a lady walking up to our rv. I give a friendly wave and my husband immediately opens the window to talk to her. Of course we assume this is someone who was staying in the park and knows we stayed overnight so we are happy to speak with her. I immediately say hello and say don’t worry, we called last night and left a message as well as filled out the online application for a reservation with all of our personal information. She then asks us to please go to the office and pay now. She also informs us there are rules and we were supposed to have checked in to the after hours kiosk. We were completely unaware of the kiosk. It was a complete oversight but I can understand her frustration and concern that some people may not pay. She then asked us to please come to the office and she would open and take our payment. No problem. After we are on our way, I get an email from her stating that she checked the office voice mail and I had NOT LEFT A MESSAGE (indicating that I lied to her). She also said that she cannot for sure say that we intended to not pay but she can’t be sure based on the fact I said I left a message and there was no message. Excuse me?? Keep in mind, I never told her VOICE message, I said we left a message (meaning email message) because their greeting instructs callers (Not once but twice) to not leave a voice message on their machine. She informs us based on no voice message that we not use their park again. I am in complete shock. It is beyond insulting to suggest we mislead her in any way. As a matter of fact, she never identified herself as being a park representative when she approached us. We apologized for not being aware of the kiosk as we approached in the dark of night. We left all of our info in every form made available to us that we were aware of. My husband and I are honest, ethical park goers with an impeccable record. We’ve never been treated in such a poor fashion by anyone in this industry. Other than our failure to check in at their kiosk, we did everything to provide our information and had no intention of getting a free night’s stay. I’m extremely offended and would never return to this park regardless of how kind the reception person was on our first visit. We’ve been met with complete unprofessionalism. #youdonotdeserveourmoney If the management wishes to challenge this review, I have all correspondence in writing and their has been no apology...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a place that tests your patience, insults your intelligence, and leaves you counting down the minutes until you can escape, this is it. This so-called RV park is the epitome of everything wrong with hospitality, offering an experience so poorly managed it borders on fraudulent—more penitentiary than peaceful getaway. Save yourself the trouble and stay literally anywhere else.
Let’s start with the amenities—or lack thereof. The bathrooms were reminiscent of gas station restrooms from the 1970s: dirty, outdated, and neglected. The sinks had rust stains, and the mirrors were cracked. The floors were sticky, and the smell was unpleasant. The water temperature fluctuated drastically, and the air smelled damp. It’s clear the owners have not invested in basic cleanliness.
The hookups were similarly disappointing. The 30-amp hookup at our site was so worn and weathered that we hesitated to plug in at all. The electrical box was visibly damaged, and the cable hookups appeared untouched for years. The owners haven’t invested in basic upkeep, creating an unsafe environment.
Then there’s the Wi-Fi situation, which was an unnecessary headache. Despite receiving a confirmation email upon check-in, the Wi-Fi password wasn’t included. We had to wait until the following day to receive it. When we finally did, it was just their phone number—hardly a secret worth withholding. The lack of organization speaks volumes about their disregard for guest convenience.
Now for their so-called “pet-friendly” status. The “dog park” is a hazard—it’s literally their sloped front yard, leading into a busy highway. While leash rules are enforced, a pack of feral cats roams the property. If your dog has issues with cats, you’ll be dodging them constantly. Additionally, they display a list of “aggressive” dog breeds not allowed on the property. It’s 2025—this outdated, discriminatory nonsense has no place in modern hospitality.
The grounds were poorly maintained, with gravel sites that quickly turned into mud pits in the rain. There was no effort to provide landscaping or shade. The park layout is narrow and cramped, with sites every 12 feet or so from property line to property line, making it difficult to get our slide-outs out. Maneuvering was a nightmare, and turning around was nearly impossible. Privacy was nonexistent, and you’re practically on top of your neighbors. When you’re leaving, you can only turn right, making the process of getting back to the interstate a chaotic ordeal.
However, the real cherry on this disaster sundae was the staff. It’s almost impressive how rude, dismissive, and condescending they managed to be at every interaction. Checking out was particularly hostile, as though our presence was an unforgivable inconvenience. On the morning of our departure, we were running a few minutes past checkout time due to a storm and a flat tire. Instead of handling this with understanding, they called us four times to scream at us, demanding to know if we were staying or leaving. They claimed someone was waiting for our site, but when we left, there was no one in sight—just six empty sites. This wasn’t about urgency; it was about petty power plays and squeezing every last dollar out of guests.
In the end, we paid a ridiculous $80 for a single night at this disaster of a place. For that price, we expected at least basic standards—clean facilities, functioning amenities, and a semblance of hospitality. Instead, we got a rundown, overpriced nightmare that left us questioning every decision leading up to our stay.
This RV park is an embarrassment to the industry. Between the hazardous pet policies, neglected amenities, cramped layout, and belligerent staff, it’s a wonder they’re still in business. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone—save yourself the misery and stay literally...
Read moreUnfortunately Tallahassee doesn’t have many options for RV campgrounds but after going back-and-forth on the very few that they do have we made the decision to stay here for a week. First of all the park is very nice, nicely shaded and well taken care of, the sites are very very close to each other I love the shady area that we got to park but the park itself is not the problem the problem is the person in charge or the owner which is a tall Caucasian woman that made it a point to interact with us twice. On the first occasion I understood the reason behind it, which was because of a visitor going a little over the 5 mph limit but on the second location there was no need for her to confront me or even say anything to me because it wasn’t happening and I am a mother and I do not need advice on how to take care of my kids. While coming out from the laundry Which I was using I had my three boys waiting for me right outside that’s when her and two other employees were sitting down talking and smoking which was another thing that I did not like at all. The employees smoking while cleaning and walking around it didn’t matter if they were near a campsite or near people they were smoking and that to me is unacceptable. Back to my story, this woman told me that the washer took certain amount of time and that I needed to bring my kids with me when I came back and took it out and put it in the dryer because it was not allowed to leave the kids unattended without an adult at the pool! I responded back to her by saying I understand that and there’s no need for you to explain that to me because I don’t go anywhere without my kids and I am a mother a responsible one so she just went on saying that other people have done it and I guess because other people have done she needs to come out to a parent and let them know. To me and my kids that was very offensive and disrespectful! I’m in adult, I am a parent and I do not need to be lecture on how to take care of my kids and this is the reason why I will never choose this park again. After that we did not enjoy our stay anymore, we avoided to not be at the campsite because it was uncomfortable to be there because there’s employees around all the time and also that woman, I understand the property is private but you also take that liability and we pay...
