Buddy's Food Mart — Local services in Tamarac

I'm sorry I had to edit my review to a one. It is illegal to charge tax on food items. I asked the price of a bread and she said 4.50, a breaf thats like 3 bucks at another store. I can understand you need profit but you're in a community that people don't have it like that. I only had e dollars to spend so I walked off to the side to ask someone on my phone to send me 1.50. The cashier said can I help you and I said yes the bread is expensive im waiting on more money. She is usually nice but with an attitude she said we'll we pay more than the big stores. Then she charged me tax which is illegal. So I asked "tax on bread" and she said you are using a card and before anyone says its because it was under 5 dollars, thats not true. If you pay cash for anything there, there's no tax, not even tobacco but if u pay card, it can be 60 dollars, they charge more. I've bought over 60 dollars in vape pens with card and they charge more, I've also paid cash before for the same thing, and I didnt pay tax. As a matter of fact me and someone was talking at the bus stop this morning about the same place and he was complaining about the same thing. Not cool for the working class or the poor and highly illegal. They will get caught one day with that nonsense. And on receipt she changed price to 4.68 to cover up. Not too long before they end up selling. The have cameras and ghe cameras Will clearly justify this conversation. And all.the good reviews were from when Buddy the original...

Buddy is a good guy and I enjoy going into his store and talking to him. I saw somebody say they don't have a lotto or beer but they have a lot of beer, wine and the guy Buddy is awesome. He takes time with you. He teaches you what you want to know when you want to buy lotto tickets.. I recommend it to anybody that lives out this way. Always have cold beer and lots of varieties of snacks,sodas and juices . Also the previous customer review said no lotto and beer removed, this is not true, maybe mistaken from another store, friendly staff, very helpful Very Clean store .I will recommend this to any one for a convenient quick...
