Save A Lot — Local services in Tampa

Today, I got to visit my local save a lot, I will say I'm typically a walmart grocery shopper usually because walmart has both food and household. At the same time, we all know walmart is the absolute best/worst place ever. Since I only needed a few groceries I decided to check this place out, it's not a huge store with every name brand or has 7 different kinds of bbq sauce so if you need that much variety this place isn't for you. SADLY YOU HAVE TO BUY OR BRING YOUR OWN REUSE BAGS. it's not really a big deal bag's where cheap .33 cents for 3 large semi-thicker than regular grocery bags. If you are a simple shopper in need of a few simple items and name brands aren't important, you'll find the basics here to make most meals. As far as price goes, condiments/seasonings were more expensive than walmart. Other than that, I'd say meat was very cheap, but the meat selection is slim. Paid 3.63 for 4 large pre-seasoned chicken drumsticks, and I bought a pack of 2 medium thick t-bone steaks for 7.44, which for the size of those steaks would've costed me 20$ anywhere else. I can't say I will become a devoted save a lot shopper, but I will say I have a place I can get in and out of quickly that sells...

Kind of hard to argue with prices and quality. Some of the brands are a little silly but they definately live up to their name and the quality does exist...you will save on alot items.

The bakery and meat sections are really hidden gems. You can find some amazing deals on fresh meats.

My only complaint is the clientele at times can be on the rough side...kids running around unsupervised..rap music on peoples phones...etc

Is what it is. Not bad on the deals tho. Scooped up some mantia frozen pizzas for 2.99 just now... simply unbelievable deals can be found here. Slashed my grocery bill by a 1/3 and that extra $75...

Dissatisfied with the lack of customer service I just received from Richard and his dirty fingernails. I walked up to the register, said a nice hello and he totally ignored me. He proceeded to ring up my items, and we stood there for about 2 minutes until I asked if he was done ringing up to which he said yes and handed me my receipt without any words. There was only one customer in line behind me. This is my second time to this location and I highly likely won’t be back due to this.
