Had occasion to dial up the 33610 location to mention how the order arrived and ask a necessary question. The exchange warranted a review.
Concerns: Arrived barely warm, just above cold. Needed microwave to make it table ready. 3 boxes arrived. Each soaked through with oils and visible seasonings. Garlic knots; ok could see that box being a bit oily. Not soaked through though due to improper packaging for delivery. However, the pizza and brownies boxes had same affect. Secondly, the garlic oil/sauce container placed inside with the pizza was opened on the back end its container, leaking out.
Upon speaking with the young lady who answered and expressing concerns, she informed that me that "the food did not arrive cold." Seemed offended with what I'd said, attempted to escalate tone and voice when making her point. She "did not think" that based on the timing in which the young man delivered and returned, it should be so. I made it clear that what she "thought" mattered not when I am able to share what I experienced as a customer who received the order.
Finally got to the most important part of the call; the toppings. Made the request for beef toppings, green peppers and cheese. Simple. By the way my tongue, throat, right side of face, ear are reacting right now, its clear that something other than beef and cheese arrived on my pizza. Pork possibly. I'm allergic. Was offered a store credit due to the oily mess, with a reiterated clarification from the young lady that it would not be for the food arriving cold. As if. Did not want it. Not the main point of the call anyway so I declined her offer to credit. Will not order from that location again. Fast food is chosen because of convenience most times. Simply said, we were inconvenienced. Will say that the girls and I absolutely loved the garlic knots (which became my dinner thanks to the mystery meat I tasted on the pizza) and brownies.
I love a manager that protects their people and stands up for them. It's wise. What is also wise is being a good listener. I was not calling for a credit or to rant. Just thought you'd like to know what occurred and needed to know if pork was put on my pizza...
Read moreUpdate--- 14 hours after posting this I recived a call from the store manager in regard to my experience. His name was Ishmael and he was a very pleasant person to speak to. Im glad to know that my issue was being reviewed and that he took the time to reach out to me. Its good to be valued as a customer and im willing to continue being a customer at this location after this phome call. I appreciate it very much.
So I decided to order pizza last night for me and my family. I placed the order for 3 pizzas at 5:31pm tracking it along the way it gets done according to the app an hour later Wait another 30 mins for delivery.... No one shows up it said 2 mins away then nothing. So i call and say i ordered my pizza an hour an a half ago. I get put on hold then told well that should have been out for delivery. I say okay agreeing at this point yeah it should be after beeing put on hold i get told the driver showed up to an abandonedd house. my number was old which i didnt realize. After giving Assuming the manager my number im then told the driver will call me so we can try to figure this out. No one calls so after it hitting the 2 hour mark since placing my order i decided to call and say just cancel my order. At this point the driver shows up stops out front yelling on the phone with the person i had been speaking to something along the line of "if they were at their freaking house they would have had their pizza". So i let the person im speaking to know how completely unprofessional that was for them to be screaming like that when i was in fact home on my couch with a sick toddler waiting for the pizza i order for my family. The only apology i got was once i said id be calling corporate. Im so completely let down and mad over this situation i hope at least corporate will...
Read moreI ordered a few pizzas over a day in advance for a specific delivery time. When it was 15 minutes late, I called and was told it would be there in 20 minutes. When it was 45 minutes late, I called again, expanded the situation, again, was put on hold for over 10 minutes. I then had my friend call to ask the same questions. She was given the same “it will be there in 20 minutes” answer, and hung up on. She called a second time immediately after to get clarification, talked to the same gentleman, explained the situation, again, only to be put on hold and hung up on. At this point the pizzas were over 50 minutes late. When we called again, we didn’t even get to talk to anyone. We were immediately put on hold and hung up on without being spoken to. I work customer service. I understand things get busy, especially on a Saturday evening. But you cannot just hang up on people you don’t want to talk to when you made a mistake. I don’t know if the gentleman we spoke to was a manager who didn’t want to deal with the issues at hand or he was just high off his mind and didn’t know what was going on (he sounded like it) but it is unacceptable to treat any customer in the way we were treated. I will give them credit: our pizzas were delivered. An hour late. We have ordered from this location many times and they have been fine as long as you don’t have to talk to them on the phone.
