The Richardton nursing home called Richardton Health Center should be shut down! They deserve a negative 15 stars. Marilyn, the director of nursing and her daughter should be immediately fired and their nursing license stripped. She basically killed my healthy Mom cuz they could not handle Alzheimers patients. Marilyn cancelled my moms vascular leg appt in Fargo & never made another appt in Bismarck so thas what my mom died from. A clot in her groin, her leg was purple so how did they not see it getting blacker, to take her in sooner=pure neglect. They wanted her to die because Marilyn was tired of coming in extra because workers could not handle Alheimers fits, even when family was not there, but she blamed US for agitating our Mom. We have video of our Mom telling her"you are killing me here, I am going to die here" First they got her so weak in just 4 months of being in there, they started using the walk assist machine(Marilyn controls the PT depth in there also, so never go there for rehab either)so they are all on a power trip there so instead of working WITH family to walk our Mom, they kicked out our entire family, Marilyn didn't even know my brothers name but restricted even phone calls from all 8 kids, grandkids and her own sisters even, for 41 days, while they were killing her. Marilyn sure could lie and misrepresent themselves during the tour and the lies continued. She manipulated the Dr and actually told my sister the POA to quit calling the dr. And we all got kicked out by just a Dr note, after Marilyn called the cops on us justo saying do not use that machine on our mother. So the next day at our PT meeting, WE had the sheriff there with US but we still got kicked out but even the sheriff thought it was horrible but could not do anything to help us either. MARILYN & her daughter manipulated the Ombundmen Katie that also lied to us stating stating he would be overseeing my mom's care while we were kicked out but she did not help/make Richardton replace Moms hearing aide, glasses, and bottom teeth that they lost, she did NOT stand up for us family whatsoever(like the Ombundsmens are suppose to be for the families but oh no it was the opposite because Marilyn is a master manipulator) cuz when I called Katie when my mom was dieing, she stated "oh I was on vacation I have no idea what's been going on" There is no help out there to stand up to these nursing homes. Sue the social service lady there must be saying cared of Marilyn too cuz she flat out refused, would not give me the names or numbers to the board members and they refused to help get our Mom tranferred to a new place like Mott wouldnt take her after they came out of Marilyns office but they were before she talked to them. This is so so wrong and unethical and purely unacceptable, & I don't know how to or where to turn to for help. Just want the public to know this place may look and smell nice but it is hell in disguise. Neglect and torture and lies is all you will get if you put your family member in there....run...
