Really should be no stars!!! Had an unfavorable experience with one of their employees. I have sent multiple messages with my contact information with no response. Please businesses understand your vendors and know apparently this vendor does not care about their public image or just hoping I would go away. Nope, your employee owes me an apology and the store she was vending at. Good evening, My name is Dr. Amanda Welch
First, I would like to begin this email by saying that I am extremely frustrated with the direction I have been given for filing a complaint with your company. The incident that I will be referring to later in this email happened on Friday, March 21, 2025 between 7:35 and 8:15 pm. When I got online to find out how to report the incident I was directed to your sales email, through the chat feature. I have sent multiple messages over the last week. Furthermore, today was the first time I have got someone to answer the phone to question what my next steps should be. I was just informed today to send an email to this email, so you can imagine that I am already irritated, but I am hopeful that you will help me in this matter.
On Friday, March 21, 2025, my husband and I patronized the Dollar General in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and since there are multiple locations in Sapulpa, this particular store is on Dewey Street. My husband and I were shopping when we noticed a person, who appeared to be under the influence of something, or hadn't slept in two days. She was making quick movements, and rushing around the store. I brushed it off, this happens from time-to-time in this area. Later, about 7:45 or close to 8:15pm my husband and I were at the checkout, paying for our items when I heard pictures being taken right behind me. Now, I did not know who this person was, she had no uniform, no signage, and once again appeared to be under the influence. I told the cashier, well that was rude, and the cashier agreed with me.
Therefore, I politely (you can ask Niki at the store, as well as Ashley the assistant manager) said, "ma'am, please do not take pictures behind people, it makes them nervous." At which point she began berating me, using profanity, and told me how she needs to do her job. I did not deserve to be yelled at, cursed at, or berated! My husband and I left the store at that point.
I returned later to speak with the store assistant manager regarding the situation, and at that point, Niki, the cashier, had already told her. That is when I was informed that she was your employee and she only works as a vendor. Well, you can imagine how I became even more upset that an employee of a company would be like that. Now, what should have happened. She should have said, ma'am, I apologize but I promise I was only taking pictures of the product as part of my job. I apologize if I scared you. But this isn't what happened, no for lack of a better phrase, sent went Karen!
What I would like to see from this email...
Once these things are done I will remove my 1 star (really wanted to give negative, because this is not how you do business), and I will say something nice, but not about that employee! Oh, I will NOT accept an excuse. I do not want excuses, I want an apology and her off that route, as I will NOT be going to a different Dollar General ( I live in this area!).
I appreciate your time and quick resolution in this matter, No...
Read moreMy car needs a wheel bearing so I've been working trying to get the money to fix it and with things needed for my kids bills etc. There was a miscommunication, I thought the store I was being sent to was Vassar Rd in grand Blanc mi but when the address was sent it was an hour away in Vassar mi and my sitter didn't show up so either way I couldn't make it. I let my manager know why I couldn't do that specific job.I didn't confirm that location in the app but I had another location confirmed 4 days prior. After telling my manager about my issues, she punished me by taking off the store I already confirmed in the app. I communicated that I needed work close by and asked if I was being punished and it showed that my message was read but no response. I don't get paid for gas baby sitter fees or wear and tear on my car. Very unfair when I'm willing to do what I can. The only other time I couldn't work was when I went to the doctor to be treated for poison ivy. (Which I submitted proof of) I feel like it wasn't reasonable or professional. As well as putting me at a disadvantage especially considering the amount of pay I receive. I posted a review on bbb and suddenly I got a response saying there's no materials at the store I confirmed and when I get my car fixed she'll schedule me more work. And texting was done at her convenience but now that I have a problem with my unfair treatment she said to email her only from now on with an exclamation point. But how can I pay for my car to be fixed if im being punished and having no work at all? instead of giving me...

However, informed me once about the code and sent me straight into investigation when I hadn’t done anything wrong since I was informed. Low pay and too much work and driving. They would pay for maintenance on your vehicle or help with your phone bill either. Worked with two district managers; one was great helped me with everything made sure I had hours. The other, barely answered the phone gave me minimum hours and refused to listen to anything and how she talked to me made me feel awful afterwards. She enjoyed taking hours away because her stuff isn’t done, understandable, even if the other manager is trying to move her jobs and it’s just...
