I received great annual service for my machine. They are approximately $20+ higher for their annual service charges, but I felt confident in leaving my machine with them... and remain confident with the servicing. The store possesses a wide variety of quality quilting fabric, along with other various fabrics, threads and other sewing notions. On the day I took my machine to leave for servicing, I made purchase of approximately $150 of fabric and threads. I overheard a younger male employee talking with another customer about some type of customer purchasing incentive-based program. I meant to ask what it entailed after overhearing part of the conversation, but became distracted and forgot. Fast-forward to approximately a week later, I went to pickup my machine. I paid for the servicing of my machine and purchased more fabric and notions totaling $260. At this time I did inquire about the customerās purchase incentive, explained I had been there previously, etc. The same younger male employee very nicely explained the program thoroughly upon my request, and unfortunately I did not have my receipt from the first purchase (who would carry it with them unless using it for a return or such). I explained I lived 55 minutes away and couldnāt just ārun back to the house and get it.ā And he told me maybe one day when Iām out āriding around with my friend (who was with me at that time)ā or āon a road tripā I could bring it in and shop again. Then just simply smiled (sincerely) and thanked me for shopping there. Yet, it made me feel as if my business was insignificant and he didnāt have time for me or want to bother with me. It occurred near closing time and Iām sure everyone was ready to close shop and go home for the day. I get that. It wouldāve made me feel more welcome to have been approached my an employee about the customer incentive based program vs me having to inquire about it, and on my second visit, at that. It wouldāve said to me, āthis is an incentive we do for [all of] our customers, this is how it works, and we want your business...ā But all in all, the employees are super friendly and professional. Any questions I had about fabrics or notions were readily answered. I was extremely pleased with the servicing on my machine.
Update: 5/12/2020. Owner responded to my review and informed me the incentive points would be applied to my account. Review upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars. To the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been a customer of this store for 8 years after moving from another state and being completely new to the area. 3 years ago, I walked in with the intent of buying a new sewing machine. Emily took me on. She asked what I was looking for, what I wanted it to do, what I was using at the time. Instead of suggesting the biggest and baddest, she led me over to another machine. After her detailed explanation of it's features, she had me sold and I walked out with one. To this day I STILL appreciate the time she took to assist me in a fabulous, spot-on purchase.
Nowadays, it's just fun walking in and being recognized by the staff who know their stuff. It feels like an extension of home. Their inventory and customer service (including machine repairs and maintenance) are exceptional, they know exactly what they have and if they don't have it, and if possible, they'll get it in. They're also very helpful with quilting questions and situations. The staff are ALWAYS upbeat, fun and have a great time with their customers! Proud to say it's my #1 store for fabric and quilting supplies. Thank you for a great shopping experience every single...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI canāt say enough good things about this store. Everyone who works there is so helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They are attentive, patient and just super nice! All of them! Itās like they eat ānice pillsā before going to work. I bought my Janome Skyline S9 from here because of their awesome social media posts. I had been looking for a machine for some time and really didnāt know what to get. They posted a video about that machine and I knew thatās the one I wanted. We drove out there and Beckie took the time to show me around and help me decide which machine I should get. As I suspected, the one in the video is what I ended up with. She answered all my questions and was very patient with me. I have been there numerous times since then and even attended a weekend event. They also have a very large selection of fabrics, thread and other sewing notions. They have all kinds of sewing machines from simple to long arm quilters and embroidery machines. They also have various classes! Make the trip, itās totally worth it. Tell them I...
