I came here for a full dirty blonde balayage on my very dark brown hair. The hairdresser I had was very nice, we had engaging conversations. She made sure I was comfortable and she let me choose everything I wanted my hair to be and look. The place was cute and cozy.

The only problem I had with the result of my hair, after three different sessions, is that my hair looked brassy. It doesn’t look like it in this picture, but I was told by another hairdresser whoever did my hair didn’t tone it right and that my hair is very brassy. I totally would understand because it’s not easy to get naturally super dark hair to a very light color, but I had to come back 2 more times, paying the same price, just to get to dirty blonde. I know a balayage could be done in one session. The toner she used didn’t seem to work all 3 of those sessions. My “balayage” barely was like a balayage either. It kinda looked like my whole head was dyed.

I liked the place because my hairdresser was nice and so was the other one that was working, but I was just pretty disappointed with the result of my hair and I was upset to had wasted almost $400 on that. I wished that I was given a warning beforehand that my hair will be difficult to do or that they don’t have much experience in very dark Asian hair (their portfolio didn’t have any clients with as dark of hair as mine) so that I could’ve went to a different salon with more experience with it.
