My boyfriend and I were very excited to do some horseback riding while visiting Temecula. We had known there was a weight limit restriction and we had weighed ourselves previously to ensure that we were under the weight limit (which we were). When we got there, there was no one there and no cars in the parking lot, which was strange to us since it was during a weekday. When we got out of the car, we walked to the entrance and found our ride instructor waiting outside. We talked for a bit and then proceeded inside to get gear and make sure everything was good to go. When we got inside our instructor had told us that our weights had not printed off of the website so we would have to be weighed, no biggie! The instructor threw the scale out, stomped on it and seemed super annoyed at us. My boyfriend got on first and was blown away at the scale. It makes no sense that when we weighed ourselves 4 days before coming here, that he had gained over 25-30lbs. I was nervous because I am heavier than my boyfriend by 50lbs. When I stepped on the scale my result was the exact same as his, nearly 25-30lbs gained in 4 days. The instructor looked at me and said "You are WELL over the weight limit", I knew this and was super sad (I was barely over the weight limit by about 10-15lbs, which in my book is not WELL over the weight limit). I also understand having a weight limit, it is for the horses safety and longevity. I was in shock and didn't even know what to say. My boyfriend was under the weight limit by a few pounds, but we just found it astonishing that the scale had shown such a HUGE weight gain in 4 days. I was at a loss for words and was talking things over with my boyfriend. As I am talking to him, The instructor looks me dead in the eyes and says "Well, there is a few ranches up the road that have Clydesdales that can carry REALLY REALLY heavy people". I was BLOWN AWAY at this comment! Not only was I sad about not being able to do the ride, but what made me very upset was the EXTREMELY rude and UNPROFESSIONAL comment about weight and the attitude that was given to me (scoffing and eye rolling with crossed arms and foot tapping, as if annoyed). I completely understood not being able to ride because of being over the weight limit, as this could hurt the horse and cause problems, I understand that. We had also paid a $100 deposit that was non-refundable, which we understood. My boyfriend could tell I was very uncomfortable and stepped in and had said " We will take our business elsewhere". He had asked about getting the deposit back, which was a long shot, but was turned down immediately. The instructor didn't even offer to help us explore the ranch and or look around while we were there. I didn't have much to say after this, so my boyfriend took the lead on the rest of the interaction. He had told the instructor "I am not going on the ride without my girlfriend, we will be leaving and taking our business elsewhere". The instructor looked at him, sighed and ROLLED HER EYES. When we turned and walked out the door we had thanked her, even though there was nothing to thank for at this point, and her only reply was "[Sighing, rolling eyes with crossed arms] Bye.." COMPLETELY unprofessional attitude and mannerisms to us the whole time, besides the initial greeting outside of the entrance. I just hope no one is treated this way if they have a similar situation, super disappointing at how UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE this...
Read moreOur Wedding was in March 2024 at CRC Ranch. This working horse ranch venue, a hidden gem, promises a truly unique and magical experience. When you book with CRC Ranch, the wedding coordinator has a list of vendors to choose from, or you can bring your personal favorites. This was HUGE for us! We wanted our own entertainment to come in, and the ranch welcomed them all. The obvious is the breathtaking views, a renovated barn, beautifully decorated houses, and horses throughout, creating an atmosphere unlike any other. I booked a horse-riding trail with Maria at the ranch for my bachelorette party a month before the wedding. It was an experience filled with fun and laughter. The property has fully renovated Airbnb houses that are available for rent. The "Villa" is a second wedding venue on the property; it was booked for the weekend through the owner's son, Nick. We utilized the Villa for our rehearsal dinner, which was convenient and added to the unique wedding experience for our bridal party to enjoy.
Now, to all the magical people who made our dream come true…Despite the rain shower on our special day, the result was more than we could have imagined. The staff at the ranch, with their unwavering dedication and hard work, went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. They seamlessly transitioned our outdoor ceremony to a beautifully decorated indoor space without missing a beat. Every request I had for our coordinator, Tracy, was met with a smile and a guarantee that we could get it done, decorated horses to greet guests, a Burro with a beer saddle, dancing horses, food options, and so on! Tracy never shut down any of my ideas, my wish was her command. Tracy's assistant, Leslie, was at our meetings, always taking diligent notes and never missing a detail. Leslie was the life of the party come the day of and kept all our guest well hydrated (with Tequila). The décor and ideas came from Gabby, including a welcome sign, seating chart, and setting tables. I text Gabby almost every day during the week of the wedding, to help me with prints and last-minute arrangements, and she got it all done. Finally, the owner, Bob, the man who put this dream team together! He makes you feel so welcomed and loved. He opens the doors to his ranch and treats you like family. He must have a million things going on around the ranch, yet he still prioritizes being there for you. It was no secret from the look on my face that I was a little stressed as I was waiting for the ceremony to begin. Without ever asking, Bob got my favorite beverage (Tequila) and brought it over to ease my nerves. It was exactly what I needed; the gesture alone made me smile. Bob, thank you! You were right; in the end, the only thing that mattered was that moment I had with my father as he gave me away to my Husband. I am forever indebted to you, Tracy, Leslie, Gabby, Nick, and all your staff. Your dedication and hard work made our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Read moreI don’t even know where to begin with this review for CRC. Our venue was one of many to get shut down 6 months before our wedding. I frantically reached out to a million other venues and was just about to give up and elope! As soon as I reached out to CRC Tracey the coordinator responded and was ready to get us in for a meeting to go over everything about the venue! The same week she reached out to me she booked us for a tour of the venue and we were sold from the minute we met her. I truly believe there is no one sweeter out there than Tracey! She is so personable and fun, I would literally go back to CRC just to see her! She was so understanding of our situations and was a huge helping getting us booked at CRC. She was so responsive with any and every question my husband and I had. We even lost our DJ two weeks before the wedding and Tracey found us a new one literally right away! That woman is a miracle worker! This venue is the absolute perfect venue for your wedding, I could not recommend this gorgeous property enough! Everything that comes included with this venue is unmatched and relieves so much rental stress that you typically have to deal with. Tracey ran our rehearsal dinner amazingly even though it bridal party was a handful to deal with and she kept up with any crazy idea I had for the ceremony or the wedding. Let’s be honest, I could go on and on about Tracey all day long. Not to mention she even took behind the scene photos and videos for us the day of the wedding?! She’s amazing. The weather decide to rain last minute the day of our wedding and Tracey and her team had backup plans ready to go! We ended up keeping our outdoor ceremony with no issues thanks to the umbrellas provided by CRC! Tracey and the team executed our wedding so beautifully and it was flawless to me! I truly had the best and happiest day of my life and I’m so grateful to have chosen this venue for our wedding! A quick note as well, we were taking photos before the ceremony and the owner of CRC offered to take us to some amazing spots for photos! He was so sweet and we are obsessed with the photos we got thanks to him! If you are getting married in the ceremony park and having your reception in the barn, renting the Ranch House that comes with the Bunk House is an absolute must!! Ourselves and our bridal party stayed at the airbnb the night before and the night of and honestly nothing compared to staying here with your closest friends. The venue is such a dream, and I would get married here over and over again with no hesitation. If you’re even debating it, absolutely book this venue!!! They will take care of you like no other. I can’t thank CRC, Tracey and her...
