I don't understand what happened. It was GREAT until it wasn't.
I have been going here since around September 2024 and my experiences have always been great. I love my nails, they hold up wonderfully and I love my technician.
I made an appointment last week to have my nails done via the website as I was going on a week long business trip and I wanted them to look nice. When I got there, I found out it was my technician's day off ... but the website let me book her. There was no recognition of me ... I've been going there for months and no one asked if they could step in and do the service. I just left and booked an APPOINTMENT for yesterday - Thursday.
My appointment was for 4:30 and my technician was doing a pedicure that was still early on in the process. So much for making an appointment. This person was probably a walk-in and, sorry - not sorry, when I have an appointment, I want that to be honored.
Another technician came and got me to do the soak off of my nails. There was very little acetone fluid in the bag and while it did soak my nails off, it turned into a sticky sludge that got all over my fingers and under my nails and wouldn't come off. I sat there for more than 20 minutes with my fingers in this sludge waiting.
I washed my hands - nope. She used alcohol on my hands - nope. Finally I asked her for cotton with acetone and that worked but there was still some residue left especially under my nails.
Now I'm getting my service and there's interruption after interruption. Answering the phone x3 and leaving me mid service to check the appointment book. Taking payment from clients at least 4-5 times ... I'm sitting there. Helping walk-ins get situated for their service ... all the while, my service is started and stopped and delayed. She even brushed the solution on 2 of my nails and forgot to dip them in the powder until I told her.
Why is she the only one jumping up and helping every single person? I am not entitled, BUT when I have an appointment for a service, I expect to be taken close to on-time and then to have that technicians undivided attention during the service I'm paying for! There was a woman next to me that came in at least 20 minutes after me for dip nails too and she was finished almost 30 minutes before me. I didn't leave there until almost 6pm when I had a 4:30pm appointment.
At the end, after washing with soap, I still had that nasty residue under my nails. She tried to drill it out and the drill slipped and damaged one of my freshly done nails so that had to be fixed. The whole experience was awful and I used my own little drill once I got home to fix my nails and get rid of the residue and make the edges smooth. So glad I paid $45 for this awful experience.
I don't believe I will be returning. After my tech not being there last week after I had made an appointment and the disastrous appointment yesterday, I feel I need to move on to a place that appreciates their customers ... especially their return customers. Appointments over walk-ins! Seriously, getting your nails done should be enjoyable and this...
Read moreWhere do I begin….I came in just for a soak off of my old acrylic nails and SHE DIDNT even get them soaked off. I had called in advance asking if they could do it too and she said yes but instead of the soak off she used another acrylic tip to slice them off and it hurt very bad they looked so damaged which was the whole reason I wanted them soaked off to avoid that damage!! She then painted them and went over them 3 times each time she had to clean off polish with another brush because she painted on my fingers. (
Read moreIm not coming back. I had my daughters and mine pedicures done here. The price isn’t bad $47 for gel pedicure. Basic one. Let’s begin. I was half asleep and then I realize the lady is removing the gel nail polish with the towel. Then looks at me and points at another guy. Just mumbles a couple of words i keep asking what the issue was. Silence. Then another person comes to fix my nails. I kept asking what the issue was and no one would tell me. That just bothered me and it’s not good business to not communicate to your customers what is going on. I can understand people make mistakes and as long as they seek to fix them I wouldn’t have had a problem. Anyway they “fixed” My nails. Tell me my toe nails are too short work with. Why wouldn’t they tell me this at the beginning so I could take my business elsewhere? I’ve gotten millions of pedis. Yes they are short. I don’t like long toe nails. Not my thing.
I told them why wouldn’t they say that in the beginning then if there was such a problem with them. my daughters nails seem To be fine. Mine could be a lot better but I just needed to go on with my day. I won’t be back. I’d stay away from there unless you have already a person who you like and is your regular there....
