Chef Flaco's Gourmet Foods - Temple, Texas — Local services in Temple

For a while I’d been driving past here assuming it had something to do with the restaurant nearby. Which, looking back, was a sad assumption to have because, OH BOY, have I been missing out!! I’ve only tried their Smoked Hatch Queso so far, but it is hands down my all-time favorite queso (although I’ve got their Smoky Bacon on deck so that favorite may be short lived). XXX Salsa is delicious, and not a vinegar soaked face melt but actually flavorful. Their limited edition Blueberry Fire is an awesome sweet and spicy treat. Their hot sauces have great variety, both in flavors and heat level. Whether you find black pepper too spicy or have to resort to Ghosts and Reapers to feel anything, you’ll find something you like here. I didn’t look too closely at the other offerings but it did appear that they offer additional Texas (and possibly local) products.
