Prairie Unique — Local services in Terry

One of my husband's hunting guides told us about this store and oh boy! was he so right about the wonderful items you can find! Wish we had more time to browse around. Kathy, the owner, is so nice, and is a wealth of information on everything from history to gluten-free food! I've just recently been diagnosed to have gluten intolerance and I was pleasantly surprised to find many gluten-free products in the store. We just baked the brownie mix we bought and it is so yummy! The lentils snacks are also great. I checked out the website and am happy to note that it is possible to order online. Being so far away in California, it might be some time before we go back again... although who knows, I think i just fell in love...

The couple that owns the place are some of the most genuinely nice and welcoming people I've met. They're fun to talk with and make the experience that much better. Their store has a myriad of different goodies and souvenirs that are local to Montana and are fun and interesting; not the cheap, tacky stuff you usually see. One of my favorite finds from Prairie Unique was ghost pepper toffee popcorn from Kornutopia that is surprisingly delicious! I will definitely visit again if I'm ever...

I happened to stop off at this shop passing through MT on my way back home to Wyoming and I am so happy I did. First off Dale and his wife are simply wonderful people. So warm and welcoming and they love their state. I picked up a bunch of huckleberry things for the wife and boys and I might just have to go back and stock up on the MT Huckleberry Thunder Sauce. I am addicted to that stuff now! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a visit with these great people. God...
