GameStop — Local services in Texarkana

Went to sell my Xbox 1s and games. Ridiculously low prices for the same games that they charge premium prices when you try and buy the game from games top.

The clerk offered to take my Xbox 1s home with him to download the up date so as to erase my info, as I had asked. This was due to the slow upload or download speed at the store. He claimed it would take around 3 hours. Advised him that I'd leave it and comeback. He said I'd have to wait in the store so that they didn't want the liability of the console being stolen...Seemed like a nice young man, but I didn't know him and wasn't sending my console with all my info home with him.

Nobody really cares about customer service anymore. Furthermore, if they bought a used game from me for $5 or less dollars and sell it for $30,40, or 50, then why can't they afford...

Ok. I want to give this gamestop a fair rating but man I'm going to be honest. I literally walked in the store and was looking around first to see anything new. Normally I would see Jacob in there but. This employee just gave me a negative vibe. I really would like to put his name down but man. I asked nicely about a specific game trade in. And he just put a stop to just gave me a simple answer. No they have to have the disc in the store to check it out... I literally told him I just got the game and I hardly play it. Meaning that its in its case and has not been touched much.... What bothered me the most was that I wanted to make some business. And spend MONEY. He didn't want to deal with me at all... And this is poor customer service. I need the managers concern about...

This GameStop is nestled in the small shopping center across the road from the Walmart on the Texas side in Texarkana. It is your prototypical GameStop where you have a lot of the non-gaming merchandise in the middle and your games on each wall. Unfortunately like a lot of the GameStop stores today the games are not organized alphabetically nor are they separated from new and pre-owned. However the staff is very nice and are very helpful with finding anything that you need so I would definitely try...
