The young man who sold us a mattress at the Ashley Outlet, Texarkana, TX, Nykeme Walker, was articulate and well informed about his products. He had a non aggressive demeanor and did not push any of the higher priced mattresses plus, he explained what each mattress offered NOR DID BAD MOUTH the lower priced mattresses! I was impressed with his sales technique-HE DIDN'T HAVE ONE! He merely explained the different mattresses and what they contained inside and how they were made. We were just pricing mattresses yesterday with the intent to "only look" and had several other places to go by. But the mattress we chose at Ashley's had the best price range for our budget and was well-suited to my brother's stature and aging disabilities (getting old stinks!). Mr Walker truly exhibited "honesty was the best policy." We wanted him to have the commission although I'm certain we could have found the same craftsmanship for less somewhere else. Then..he explained the shipping procedure, when it arrived what to expect, that the drivers would remove and dispose of the shipping container the mattress came in AND, we were to inspect the mattress immediately, before the driver's left, and "call him about any problems." Well done, Sir.."customer service" isn't extinct after all! Alvin Deckard Jane...

I came here with my wife looking for a mattress. The sales woman was ok but I felt like she didn't really care if we bought from them or not. We found a mattress that felt OK even though they were all extremely overpriced. So we finally decided to take a chance on one of their brand mattress. This is where things really started going downhill. I asked about having it delivered and they said they do that for $200. That is about double that I had been quoted elsewhere. I was still thinking about getting it when I thought to ask about taking my old mattress away. The sales woman said we don't like doing that. I told her this was a deal breaker for me because all other mattress places take your old one away. So she called a manager who came over and said for an additional $300 they would take my old mattress. So that means $500 total to deliver and haul away my old mattress! That is insane and a ripoff! The place I ended up getting my mattress from delivered it and hauled mine away for $160. Oh and I live three miles away from the store. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU NEED DELIVERY AND HAUL OFF. They lost me as a customer...
