I want to start this review by saying please read the entire review. If you are looking to build a house and reading these reviews, you should know that 5 stars does not mean there was not any hiccups. It means the integrity of the builder and staff worked through everything in a 5 star way. Any builder that tells you they can build you an entire home, on time, and have zero hiccups... Run. Run fast. That sounds like a lie. We had an entire loss of our house. We did not set out to build a home, it was by default. We started touring builders while still working with insurance. Amber Stephens was amazing. She treated us well and answered all our questions and gave us as much time and we needed even though at the beginning, we were not even sure if we could build a house with them. But that never made her treat us less. We repeatedly toured the models for 4 months. When it came time to sit down and see what we were actually looking at to build, I loved the fact that the prices were the prices. Other builders would ask us for our dream sheet and then tell us the total to build. No breakdown. When it was over budget we didn't even know what made sense to cut out. With Precision I know what I paid for every additional window, outlet, upgrade, shelf and square footage. I could look at the prices and decide ... Is a pot filler at the stove something I want for this dollar amount? How much do I like seamless glass in the bathroom shower? There was no bottom line surprises when we signed. We were even able to go home, and think about it, emailed for prices of things we forgot, and add it up ourselves because it was straight math. Here is the BIG DEAL. Integrity. We signed right before the skyrocketing supply and labor prices of pandemic. As we waited, we saw news articles about builders holding peoples homes hostage for an extra 50k or more. Some canceling the job mid build. I emailed one of those articles to Amber and asked her if we should prepare for any of these things to happen. Her response gave comfort in a time of confusion. She said Precision had contracted with us to build a house a certain way for a certain price and that they would do that. The only prices that would change is if we added on things later during the build, it would be at the rate of that time. They held to that. We maxed out our available budget and we had zero room to move. They built our house to every detail specified, and I never thought they cut any corners to do it, even though the prices they paid for materials changed over the time. Building a house can get emotional and overwhelming, especially after a total loss of your former home. There was one hiccup in the beginning where I ended up talking to Jason on the phone. Being that he didn't hang up on me even one time, I thank him. After I calmed down, a resolution was found, and everything was back on track. His faith in the Lord showed through his attitude and his commitment to excellence. I look up to him as a leader in how to handle things and I think he instills a lot of those values into his team. I learned a lot from a man I had never met that day in that phone call. Our project manager Josh Peters had just come on the team. Trial by fire. But he was made for it, for a time such as this. Pandemic made the entire building industry mad chaos and his training soon was quickly turned into on the job leadership. Josh was not afraid to say "I will get back to you with an answer." instead of make something up. His commitment to honest answers earned my respect, and his calm personality was perfect for the situations at hand. If I can give anyone advice on choosing a builder, look for the integrity. Because there will be hiccups, there will be oopsies, and there may even be some miscommunications; its a massive undertaking each time. But the integrity is what will make it right. If I had to build another house, I would make one stop, and that is at...
Read moreWe just closed on our home on 3/28/2024 and i couldn’t be any happier. I purchased and signed with Amber C. I really wanted this home a certain way with a garage and Amber kinda stopped me and said I think I know what you want let me work on it and for sure she came up my design that I fell in love with absolutely perfect. My land wasn’t just land that I purchased it was land that my father left me so I wanted my true dream home for my family. Once we signed we started working with Ashley Peter’s and working on all the back end stuff with my land and it was a little difficult but Ashley kept pushing through until We received the green light to pick colors and that’s when I met Amber Stephen’s and Larry my builder and let me tell you they are AMAZING. Amber always answered any questions that I had right away it makes it know you chose the right people to build with. Larry my builder was amazing always updated me and really went above and beyond for us it makes a huge difference when you’re builder really cares and wants everything perfect for you as a customer. I felt it in my gut that I wanted to use precision homes after looking at different builders I chose them and I’m truly great full that I did because throughout my build my daughter would have FFA Shows and we spend a ton of time with her animals and I’m telling you not knowing at the time I met the owner of precision homes and his kids show and I knew right then I was in good hands I’ve never met a person so humble in my entire life that I really enjoyed talking with him and seeing him with his kids at the FFA SHOWS. My big part in life is to give back to kids that may need a helping hand with animals and seeing him do just that made me respect him even more. My daughter has special needs and to see the owner give back to kids that don’t always have the best days is truly amazing. I want to thank the entire team. If your looking at purchasing a home I promise you that you are in great hands and they will take care of...
Read moreWe met with several other builders before we sat down with Amber Cerrera at Precision Home. We were impressed with her character and integrity. She made us feel comfortable and very transparent about costs and made the process easy. She’d help us with great recommendations, designs and customize them to suit our needs. She was always attentive and ready to answer any questions we had by text or email, even on her day off.
A big shout out and two thumb up for Larry Badgett. During our construction process, Larry was an exceptional superintendent. From the start, Larry built our home as if he built his. Larry was a joy to work with throughout the build and was always on top of the trades to ensure adherence to the schedule, and provided exceptional communication with us along the way. He has eyes for details. He regularly walked the site, going out of his way to make sure we were happy with the process. He makes sure our property is respected and kept the work site clean for each stage of the building process. He kept us informed weekly, resolved any concern or question we had, and kept things going smoothly. He did everything he could to make us happy and it worked.
From plans to the design phase to the finished home, it was an enjoyable experience as building a home should be. We were nervous about building a home that had never been walked through model and just based on dimensional floor plans but Amber and Larry took that worries away making us feel comfortable ensure that we are in good hand. Words cannot begin to express how happy we are with Precision Home! Everyone was always very helpful, friendly and great to work with. If we had to do it again, we would choose Precision Home a thousand times. Thank you Precision Home team for providing us with great experience.
