Our daughter's wedding reception was held in the event center and it could not have been a more perfect spot! Planning was very easy with Janna- very professional, allowed us to plan, and made recommendations based on our opinions and her experience resulting in a celebration that was enjoyable for everyone! The other staff was great as well, met Patty who was always helpful and pleasant. Especially for living out of town and not familiar with the area (or the pork festival happening on the same weekend) Janna could not be more accommodating on meeting times, timely in response of emails, and overall, just easy to work with!! The facilities were spacious, clean, easy to handle a crowd, restrooms, lighting, kitchen facilities all very user friendly and able to handle a wedding reception with ease.

The fireworks here are amazing and always give a great show however we were quite disappointed that no one was taking donations as well as the hotdog stand wasn't available this year that helps raise money for the following year. WWKI always has patriotic themed songs in the background. This year they provided an app to download and none of the songs were related to the 4th. They also provided an overpriced food truck. Families go here to enjoy the fourth not to spend money on an overpriced frozen hamburger. Don't take away a good thing. It's the little things like this that makes people come back. We ended up going to McDonald's and feeding a family of four for the price the food truck...

We had a really nice week camping here with our RV. It was quiet and we were one of only about 5 others. Some sites have 30A and some have 50A, and water is available at some as well. Carefully select your site to make sure you have the electric and water at the site if you need it. There are only a few with water and 50A.

There are a few trees but we were able to use Starlink just fine on our flagpole. AT&T also have great service.
