Good Course and Good Service.
Played this course for the first time since a recent move to the Indy burbs. The retired gentleman who checked me in was very personable and knowledgeable regarding the course. After I completed my round he came out of the clubhouse and asked me about the course and my round. In an era of 30 minute hold times masquerading as customer service, this "old school" approach to customer service was a refreshing alternative to what passes for service at most places.
The course itself was in excellent shape. I was out at sunrise, and a fleet of mowers were already out on the course. Fairways are generous, but you can still get into trouble if you start spraying the ball. The back nine creek requires some decisions on shots which makes the course fun and challenging. The greens were aerated which did not allow me to rate them, but they looked in otherwise great shape.
I walked the course, and the course is easily walkable. With many new courses with 1/4 mile distances between holes that wind through sub-divisions, it was great to play a traditional course with tee boxes in close proximity to greens. Last but certainly not least there are no homes on the course. This makes for a great natural setting, and no worries about putting a ball off a roof or a window. I will be back to play the course once the greens are...

Our group starts to play and he is on our tail end telling us to hurry through , we need to be going on , we havenāt even completed one whole and he is saying he is very happy to refund us our money so he can keep his golf carts moving along. Terrible customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBe prepared for a 5 hour round of golf! I called to complain about the slow play and the foursome in front of me not allowing me to play through. The Pro, Ryan came out on the course and actually told me that "nationwide and here singles aren't allowed to play through because they disprupt the flow of the game". A new made up rule. If he had half a brain he would see that the whole golf course was disprupted due to one single foursome. The rules of golf are VERY simple and clear, faster players play through, there is no other part to that...
