Tipton Park — Attraction in Tipton

Great playground "toys" for kids (and some that parents can enjoy, too!) that include a super variety, with a separate gated area for the littlest ones. There are even swings for kids with special needs (an amazing and wonderful accomodation for children who are often forgotten!! My youngest son loves swinging on these!). The whole park is very clean. There's also a lovely pavilion and gazebo. Plus there are restrooms just beyond the parking area. Additionally, if you cross a little bridge, well-kept basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits are open for public use (with bleachers for those who prefer to spectate). The Tipton Park is an amazing blessing and privilege provided for the community. I hope the city continues in their dedication to always maintain this...

We live in a neighboring town and frequent the park. The toddler area is fenced in (nearly all the way) and has a great variety of options. There are several toddler swings even outside of that area. The park is very kept up. Bathrooms are seasonal but in the off months there is a porta potty that is maintained. Lots of parking, shade in most of the park, besides the toddler area. That is really the only downside for us at this point. The police drive through on a regular basis and sometimes stop for awhile. We feel very safe here and look forward to coming back the next time. If there were more coverage over the actual play equipment I'd give a 5 star rating but they really lack said coverage. The park is kept in very good clean conditions and allows animals so it's a great place for the entire family; fur-babies included. I've taken my two younger children there many times and they love the openness to run around and play. A perfect place for picnicking and they have a walking/bike path around the main park area. The speed bumps could be made an inch or two smaller as we've bottomed out multiple times in our car but they truly do help prevent people from driving through too fast.
