Capt Duke's Airboat Rides — Local services in Titusville

Where do I start...So my brother and I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend some time with our dad checking off a few Bucket List items this week. We were all excited about an Airboat tour so we chose a company with great reviews but after the tour we were all like "really...that's it"? We decided to try another company and as we were driving to it we passed Captain Duke so we went back to chat with him. We told him about our previous experience and about our dad. We scheduled a ride with Captain Duke and I can't say enough about his kindness to my dad, brother and I. The tour was "Amazing"!! He put us on so many gators, birds, wild hogs and he took us up into so many beautiful areas as well as an old Indian Island. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the history. I cant tell you how much fun we had and "HE" made it so much more. That is how an airboat ride/tour is supposed to be! OH....Dad has been fighting Pancreatic Cancer for 2 years now and this was a reminder of how precious life is..it's short so don't take it for granted!! Spend time with the ones you love . While visiting Orlando our friends suggested we go on an airboat ride. After calling multiple locations and being turned down as we were a party of 2 my wife had the pleasure of speaking with Captain D. Even though his minium was 3 ppl he was willing to take just the 2 of us out. Another couple ended up booking with him at the same time as us. This was probably the best part of our 9 day vacation. Captain D took the time to tell us about the area swamps, take us to see the woodlands and even an eagles nest. He told us about Manatee Springs and places to fish off the coast, even offered to loan us some poles since we had no equipment with us. He did not rush us when we started taking pictures and often stopped and or got as close as he could for better shots. He was such a pleasure to talk too. He is all about the experience and showing you the florida swamps vs making money. I am so glad we got to spend time with him. We will be back in Florida in April and we cannot wait to go out with Captain D again in the spring when its a little warmer. If you are looking for a great personable tour guide for a party of 3 to 6 I highly suggest giving him a call and booking an Airboat Ride...

My son (28) and I (56) were in Florida (we live in Montgomery, AL) for doctor appointments and were looking for something fun to do that we haven't done before (it had been a long, miserabe week). Happened upon Capt. Duke's advertisement and decided to do a sunset ride. Arrived and the other 2 passengers had canceled so it was just us and Captain Duke and it was amazing and beautiful!!! Captain Duke was fun and very knowledgeable. We've done a lot of traveling and had many adventures (helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon was our favorite until now) the airboat ride with Captain Duke has surpassed all of them. If you have a chance this is a must, and so much more fun then some of the other airboat rides we looked into where you are just a couple of folks in a 10-12 passenger boat. Truly, I can't say enough about how great this was. In a week where we didn't have a lot to smile about this was just what we needed. We smiled and talked about it the entire 8 1/2 hour trip home!
