Self guided and guided tours of launch centers and exhibits of all maned launch vehicles. Multiple museums as well. Interesting information about what has occurred, but little about what is occurring now. The layout is confusing as they just made use of the land and structures available. Unfortunately, trying to ask directions did not help as the staff also did not know what was occurring when. Prolonged directions about having to scan a code to get on the bus to get to the control center requiring you to pick a certain time. But when we actually go to the bus they told us to forget all those instructions and just gave us another ticket for the bus leaving then. Tried to get information from the first information booth, but the 2 employees just started arguing with each other and neither knew what was going on. Fortunately, the entire complex is quite small so just wandering around will get you to everything. This may all change soon as a massive new museum building is in the process of being built there and should...
Read moreSeeing the Saturn V in person was incredible, and I loved how the presentations hyped it up instead of just letting us in without fanfare. The exhibits were excellent but I was a bit frustrated by the Apollo 1 room. The music wasn't quite reverent enough for my taste and the artifacts are kept behind OLED screens that turn completly opaque for far too long. The displays are really cool, but I felt interrupted when the screen would block my view after 30 seconds. That's really my only reservation. Everything else was phenomenal, especially the staff. Take time to have a conversation with one of them. They have stories about how their parents worked on Apollo or how Apollo astronauts would sometimes chat with them while visiting the complex. Chatting with them is a great reminder of the human element in these incredible projects. Such a cool place. If you visit the KSC, do not miss...
Read moreGoing to Kennedy Space Center is a must in this lifetime! The experience is amazing and every cent and penny is worthwhile spent here. There is so much to see and the multimedia presentations are really high quality and very interactive. The whole experience is highly educative. You get so many information. The highlights are the Atlantis which can be explored and the Apollo missions which went to the moon. You can see the shuttles and the rockets in their natural height. With a bus tour you can see all the places where a take off is prepared and you get to see the huge building from where they are taking out a the rockets before they are launched. You get to see also the launching spaces and the bis driver who works there for over 30 years would tell you lots of details. Mindblowing! This was one of the most impactful and meaningful places which I have...
