I have had my daily prescription filled at this Publix location for a few years now. I’ve never had a problem up until the last few times I’ve had to have my prescription refilled. I have it filled every 90 days and it is a controlled medication. I understand there are strict regulations on the pharmacists and I’ve never once asked them to step outside of the realm of those boundaries. This is the third time I’ve had an issue and ironically, the same female pharmacist has been on duty all three times. The last two issues were based around the dates of the medication being filled. She was using a calculator and adding the days by counting the weeks versus just simply counting the days on a calendar which would leave me without my daily medication for 1-3 days. The last time it happened, I said to her, “Ma’am, you’re an educated woman. I’m certain you’ve been taught the ability to count days on a calendar,” as she was being beyond unprofessional and told me, “If you want it faster, perhaps you should go to another pharmacy.”
Astonished at the complete lack of respect and professionalism that one would expect of how a local Publix Pharmacist would carry themself, not to mention the fact that PUBLIX, the southern charm grocery store we all love, would allow any medical “professional” to represent their brand in that manner... mind blown.
Well, since my last debacle with this female pharmacist at the Colonial Coast Crossing Publix Pharmacy, 96 days ago (I gave her mathematical incompetence a few extra days this time), I call in to confirm they received the prescription from my doctor today. The pharmacy technician, Alyssa called me back to tell me that they were unable to fill my prescription. I asked if they were out of stock of the medication or are the dates mysteriously off again? She said, “No, we’re just not filling your prescription any longer.” Seriously?... “You can call tomorrow and speak to the pharmacy manager if you like.”
Mind you, I’ll be out of my daily medication as of tomorrow. I’m a combat wounded veteran and quite frankly I’m pretty blown away and disgusted at the representation of Publix by this group of medical “professionals,” and the personal chip on their shoulders they have for me challenging their ability to count days in the past. What’s even more disgusting is that PUBLIX has a PHARMACIST on their payroll and continues to let her act in this manner... You should be...
Read moreI am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction following a recent experience at the Publix Pharmacy located on Cheney Highway in Titusville, Florida. This was my first visit to this location, and unfortunately, it was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered at any Publix. The individual in question, Carmine, displayed behavior that was not only unprofessional but also deeply upsetting. Rather than assisting me or attempting to solve my issue, he was dismissive, confrontational, and extremely rude. His demeanor came across as bullying and intimidating, making me feel humiliated and powerless. Carmine made every effort to avoid assisting me. I felt demeaned and insulted, as if my concerns were not worthy of his attention. His tone and attitude made me feel as though I was a burden, rather than a customer simply asking for help. I left the store feeling shaken, angry, and emotionally distressed. Never in my life have I felt so mistreated during a face-to-face interaction—especially not at a Publix, which is a brand I’ve always associated with kindness and service. I strongly believe that Carmine should not be in a role that involves direct contact with assisting customers. His behavior was entirely inappropriate and contrary to the values Publix...
