Walked into subway tonight ( 3/9/19) at 9:04 and after multiple mumbles from the back the employee finally came to the front in a pair of faded print leggings, a subway shirt, and a greasy head with hair falling out of her ponytail with no hat so I did not catch a name. After telling me she only had wheat, honey oat, and Italian herbs and cheese bread I still decided to Stay because I had been waiting on subway for dinner tonight. The line was a disaster with mostly empty Cambros. She dropped the knife to cut the bread and couldn’t find another one so had to go wash that one..came back and didn’t remember how to cut the bread and fumbled around. Asked her if she had turkey because I didn’t see it on the line and she didn’t even look in the back and said nope. She previously told me she hadnt been busy since she started her shift and that they would of had more bread but the truck came in late today so I know they’re was turkey in the back. No big deal; I got roast beef instead. Asked for double meat and extra cheese (was charged for both and only got 2 broken slices of American instead of 4 slices..). There was no chicken teriyaki on the line so I didn’t even ask for that. Got steak and cheese for my husband and she told me multiple times it should be toasted with onions and peppers even after I told her I had worked for subway for 7 years and do not like it that way. She also tried to toast my daughters tuna after I told her multiple times it was not supposed to be toasted. The vinegar lid was on the mayo and she had to go change that after trying to squeeze it out.. all the while more people were coming in and she’s getting more frazzled by the second. Kept saying we’re out of this and that and I’m so exhausted I’ve been here all day over and over again. She complained of a migraine and said she tried to call out. She was all over the place and it really seemed like she was high on something. She even started cursing in our conversation dropping the F word multiple times after asking me what time it was. I stated it is 9 pm..only 1 more hour to go and she replied “not even, we lock the door early”. Very disappointed with tonight’s experience and realized I cannot visit this restaurant at night anymore. The food that we could get was good but not what anyone wanted! Oh and I couldn’t even get my receipt because it jammed and I just wanted to get out of there! Very long drawn out process for 3 sandwiches and 2 of them didn’t even...
Read moreOrdered online for a small group for a picnic by the water. Subs were great, EXCEPT the only draw back was we ordered extra sweet onion sauce and instead of it being ON the Sweet Onion chicken sub, a small amount was put in a cup inside the bag. As it was a large order for a picnic & we didn't find the little cup of sauce until we were tossing the waste paper back into the bag so it was a dry sub without ANY sauce. Wish there had been a note on the bag or we had been told it would be in a tiny cup inside ( wasn't even as much as we usually get on the regular sandwich when we walk in and it was supposed to be EXTRA large amount ). That was very disappointing this time. But the greeting when we picked up the order was GREAT, the Subs were Fresh, the meat was tender and the veggies...
Read moreI ordered a sub online yesterday and the entire sub was covered in yellow mustard (which I ordered normal amount on). It was on the outside of the bread, first bite had mustard gushing out the sides, and left the entire footlong inedible. I tried to call the store, no answer. So I wrote an email and got a response of “I’m sorry” from a “Butch Kiss” in response. No offer to replace the sub I had to throw away or even a discount coupon. It takes a LOT for me to complain but I think having to throw out an entire meal due to excessive condiments is worthy of more than just a “I’m sorry” email from the franchise owner. Will never be giving my business to this local subway. I will drive out of my way to give my money to another franchise. Very...
