The owner is amazing; she's kind, warm-hearted, and dedicated to what she does. She can make anything and mostly everything (except deodorant)! There are many, many scents in soaps, body polishes, lotions, etc. She has amazing pieces of jewelry, bath bombs (The. Best. Amazing Grace is a must!), bath salts, oils for body and face, scarves, shea butter, and so much more! All around is the best place to pick up all your hygiene products and my family agrees because we use nothing else but her products. I highly recommend that you go to the actual store, because there's just so much more there at the store than what's on the website. But if you can't make it to the store, call the store and ask Ebboni (the owner) about all the products; I double highly recommend ordering Graceful (soap), Coco Mango (lotion), Pink Sugar (Everything, especially the body oil), and the neutral scent of The One (everything) for everyone who really wants to buy something but not sure about what to get. And then on top of that, she sends it in colorful boxes! Hope this helps and have fun...

I am a lover of homemade soap, and a deep love of anything Patchouli. Ebboni posted on Facebook that she had just finished up a new batch of patchouli soap and I literally RAN to get some. I have bought lots of homemade patchouli scented soap, but the quality of this soap is incredible. The bar is very smooth ( I cut off slices to use and it did not crumble at all) the lather was great, very luxurious, and the scent is enchanting. It lingers (in a great way) and was not drying on my super sensitive skin.

New to the area, I was driving around to find new businesses to frequent and stumbled across Above the Bar Soapery & Gift Co. Their adorable exterior caught my attention so I turned around to pay them a visit. I am beyond thrilled that I did! To start, it feels as though you are walking into an upscale spa. The music, the fabulous aroma, the aesthetics of the boutique itself...I was so excited that I exclaimed, “Your shop is adorable!”.
