Pocono Mountain Provisions — Local services in Tobyhanna Township

Cute store but will not be returning. As a local resident, I’ve been following the store’s page on social media hoping to stop in soon. I finally had time this past weekend on Saturday after running some errands. When I walked in, there was a man sitting behind the front counter on his laptop. I said hello, did not receive a response. The man just looked up from his laptop for a half second. There was a dog walking around the store so I asked if it was friendly because I love dogs and always ask if I can pet or want to know if the dog isn’t comfortable being around strangers, etc. I asked the man behind the counter if the dog was friendly, did not receive a response. The man just looked up at me again. I took a lap around the store and decided not to buy anything but made sure to tell the man behind the counter that it was a cute store. Again, the man looked up at me and did not say a word. Just stared. I left after that. The man never said a word. No greeting, no thanks for stopping in. Friendly guy at the counter. Fun selection of things. But the mug I bought lost most of the lettering. Went home and washed it and the letters started flaking off. Really disappointed.

Update - the owner/manager of the store was very quick to respond and resolved the problem. Above and beyond what I expected. Turns out the mug was a rather new item in the store and they did not know about the issue with them. They pulled the mugs they had on hand and...
