Took my watch in to get the dials fixed and was told they would need to open it up and could fix it. No problem, get a call a few days later saying watch is ready to be picked up. Noticed the next morning the dials are not in the watch. Call in and explain the situation. Get 2 different people saying 2 different things from when I originally came in. Then was told they had to call the guy who repaired it and was told they called me and said they told me they could not fix the dial while changing battery. I then said no battery needed changed. Oh... must have confused it with another. Very dissapointing. Paid to have a watch fixed and it wasn't done. As a salesman this needed a simple call to explain the situation or to tell me directly from the get go of how the "fix" would be done. Could have had another jeweler "fix" it the same way...
Read moreVery DISAPPOINTED. We left a 100+ year old mantle clock on 12/28/23 to be repaired. In Aug, I was advised the clockmaker was checking the timing and to give them a few more weeks. I was told the same thing at the end of Sept. and Oct. Today, 12/27/24, I called to say I’d be picking it up. When I arrived they went to the back to retrieve it. After several minutes I was told it was being wrapped so I could take it. Several minutes later I was told I would have to come back on Monday as the clock was in pieces and it would take the clockmaker an hour to reassemble it. I said I’d wait. I was given the clock about 15 minutes later in the exact condition it was a year ago. I wasn’t charged anything as nothing had been done. I asked why I had been told that it was working in Aug. and they couldn’t give...
Read moreI took a New Haven Westminster chime Mantel clock to Fulkersons in Toledo for repair in early November. It is almost 100 years old, and has been in my family since purchased (1926). They gave me an estimate, and it was a lot, but I felt I had to get it fixed to hand down through the next generation. I received a call and picked it up Christmas eve 2022. They did an excellent job, the clock runs and sounds great again. I went back to them 2 weeks later because I was having trouble adjusting the time with the tool I had, and they took very good care of me, giving me a new key to wind and adjust the chimes and time. They are great people to work with, and I will go there for any repairs of clocks or jewelry that I need in the future. HIGHLY...
