Highland Park — Local services in Toledo

A cornerstone of the South Side community for decades. A beautiful view, awesome graffiti art, sick ramp park and nice little stream thats granted yrs of joy to all of us as kids, teens and to a lesser extent adults. Even though the nostalgia calls to us everytime we pass the broken down swingset and demolished pool.....We used to sneak into the pool from the sewer on the other side and party till the lights pulled up lmfao. Saw my first dead body there too....

This park is one of the public facilities provided by the government, anyone can use these facilities for free, unfortunately many people do not maintain the cleanliness of the park properly, they damage the facilities and litter. And I just saw that the bridge in the park was damaged because a tree fell on it. I hope the government fixes it soon, but I don't know where...

The field was overgrown with grass and weeds where there was supposed to be gravel. The building near the field was run down and destoyed with offensive graffiti on the the walls. The outfield has a large dropoff from the infield, and many holes. I do not recommend this filed for...
