Ramko Distributing — Local services in Toledo

My company has been relying on Ramko Distributing for years. The service is amazing. We trust them with Seller Fulfilled Prime and they always ship on time. They are never late with a tracking number, either; that cannot be said of other suppliers we deal with. We are still waiting for Ramko to mess up an order, but it looks like that is never going to happen based on the huge number of orders with perfect fulfillment. Our rep, Michelle, even catches OUR mistakes and lets us know right away.

One of our biggest challenges is expanding our catalog. Michelle puts in extra time on this also. Things have gone so well with Michelle and we trust her so much, she even has access to our Amazon seller account so she can see our stock levels. We don't do that with any other supplier.

Being a distributor is tough, for lots of reasons. Many distributors are not helpful with returns, but those are a fact of life. We have all of our returns (other than 10 meter radios) sent directly to Ramko, where Michelle makes a determination on what to do with them. Sometimes, it's an RMA credit, sometimes it's repackaging, sometimes it's just a loss. But they always take care of the issue. Another distributor simply shipped us a huge box of returned items without bothering to ask us about disposition; that damaged our relationship, to say the least.

Because of how Ramko treats us, we try to give them as much business as we can.

Ramko is one of my go to distributors for all my 12 volt needs. I have an outstanding rep that really goes above and beyond to make sure I get the products that I need to support my business. Tracy D. goes the extra mile to make sure I’m on the up and up with new industry leading releases and follows up after the sale to make sure I received everything along with making sure it’s what I wanted. One of the best things I like about Ramko and Tracy is the personal touch that makes me feel like I’m just as important as the bigger businesses. Many times have I needed something when everyone is out of stock and some how she manages to get me my order when no one else can. If you want a great company and a great rep, Ramko Distributing is the way to go!! ...

AGGRAVATION...We purchased a LOT of product from Ramko, about $2000/month for a long time--some nice people, but cheap products and lots of defects. Frustration with some cheap overseas products being disqualified FOR warranty and return for credit for the pettiest of reasons. The capper... they just forced return of product back to us--defective from the box, because the customer did not return the box--"NO EXCEPTIONS!" When I protested to the owner, JR, his response was to cut us off cold. No warranty coverage or purchase there...
