Carnales, Tijuana style tacos. New restaurant on Lagrange St. in Toledo, OH. I can’t say enough about them. I tried the restaurant for the first time earlier this week and made my second visit today. I’ll be stopping in regularly. I had the nachos with two Tijuana style tacos on my first visit. Everything was so fresh and authentic. I LOVED the carnitas tacos. I went back today for the tacos, I got the meal. The meal comes with 3 tacos with your choice of meat, beans, rice, for $10. I also ordered the chimichanga meal. It too comes with your choice of meat, smothered in queso with a side of rice, beans, lettuce & tomato, also for $10. The freshness and flavor of the food is well worth the trip to this little carry out spot…Congratulations to the staff at Carnales, you successfully brought the flavors Tijuana to Toledo…!!

I have had those sit down restaurant that say thier Authentic Mexican food. Most of them have been extremely disappointing!!! with their cheese covered, sauce drenched burritos. With lack of flavor. Today I went to Canales Taqueria for lunch, and It didn't disappoint a single taste bud! I have been looking for WEST COAST Mexican food 🌯🌮. I have found it here. The Horcata was on 🎯💯👍🏽👀(it's REAL HORCATA). I had two Al pastor Tacos🌮 and a carne asada burrito🌯. I was instantly take back the west coast taco trucks. IF YOU WANT REAL WEST COAST MEXICAN FOOD. This Mexican food has been the best I have ever experienced. I can’t recommend this place enough to whoever is looking for some really good Mexican food. I honestly don’t think I’ll go anywhere else. They should open a full restaurant because the presentation of the food was impeccable. If you could think of fine dining for Mexican food, this place would be it without the dining but they should really think about opening one!
