I was incredibly nervous to start BJJ, but as soon as I walked in the door, I knew I was in the right place. Got a warm welcome from everyone, and John, the instructor, is an incredible guy. Goes the extra mile and then some for you. His passion for BJJ is palpable, and is reflected with his teaching & how tight-knit the gym is. He happily answers my endless supply of white belt questions; understands that work schedules can make people late (some gyms don't allow you to enter if you're late); spends time with everyone to make sure they're doing the techniques correctly, and will extrapolate on different possibilities that could evolve, instead of just one; has the best prices for membership around; offered to help me out outside of the gym when I hurt my knee; gets you gis & gear for less than retail prices, unlike many places that'll charge an arm and a leg, etc. He's just a really good dude.

All of the other members were incredibly welcoming, and you could feel their genuine passion to help others. None of them go too hard or try to hurt you, like in some gyms. There's a good variety of ages and sizes, so anyone would fit in perfectly. The mats are cleaned after every class, and they take every safety measure possible to keep everyone safe. There are plenty of dummies and weights/equipment to train with, and members have access to come in and train pretty much any time.

Moral of the story, place is amazing, quality of instruction is second to none, the members are all like a big family, it's clean, and if you made it this far in the review, stop thinking about it and just try Secret Pages out for a week. You...

The coaches are phenomenal here teaching technique, discipline and teamwork. It's great to see the number of girls increasing and the toughness they bring to the mat. My daughter is learning that hard work, good listening and perseverance pays off through stripe and belt progression. These guys are fantastic! My son attends the shark style wrestling and BJJ classes and I attend the adult BJJ classes. Instructors John, Clark and Terry are all top notch- detail oriented in their instruction of techniques, very attentive to students and you can tell that they love teaching their craft.
