We worked with Chef Thom for our wedding at the Nathan Hale Homestead on 10/23/21. We were very happy with the dinner for 150 people (served family style) and the variety of apps during cocktail hour. Guests told us that they enjoyed the food and had plenty to eat, and Thom was able to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. Having the truck to cook on was great since there were limited kitchen facilities at our venue. Thom and his event planning partner Tracey were very responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process. Tracey was very helpful on our wedding day and made sure we had food/ drinks while doing photos and everything we needed throughout the night. Request-A-Chef catered our wedding and were amazing. The food was delicious--all of our guests kept talking about how good the food was, both during the wedding and in the days afterward. They were so accommodating of different dietary restrictions and made sure that everyone had something to eat that they loved. Throughout the whole planning process, they were so easy and professional to work with--Laurie was very responsive to all of our questions and always got back to us immediately with a response. There are so many wonderful things I could say about Chef Tom and his team at request a chef. They know what they are doing. I loved having one contact through them to take care of food, bar, and rentals because it made things go so smoothly. Laurie was our main point of contact and she was great. She took care of everything, she kept in contact when appropriate, and made sure to answer the myriad of questions I constantly threw her way.
