Monroe County Fair — Local services in Tomah

I went specifically for two things to go through the area of the flea market type only about 6 total vendors in there, yes I get it Wednesday is like an extra day for them.and they probably don't need to be set up until Thursday so going on no admission day was just dumb. On the other no admission day on Sunday vendors tend to pack up early. The other thing I went for was deep fried cauliflower and none of that this year either. Just expectations set to high for Monroe county.

I did enjoy the Lilly Pad Creations. The young girl maybe about 10 at the most 12, did an amazing job at answering questions, she knew the types of every dragon there, this will the only reason I'll consider going back on Sunday just to purchase from this booth. Many don't realize the courage it takes to explain things to strangers and just strike up a conversation most adults can't even do this. Cudos Girl...u will go great places and do great things just with your ability to be able to...

First time here, nice little fair. Mostly went because my 16 year old son and I wanted to check out the motocross races. I would say the races were worth the trip, pretty good racing, many classes and was pretty fun watching the kids. Also got the sloth dog from schindoggies, had jalapenos and crispy onions added, pretty frickin good. Would be easier to eat if I woulda had a knife. Would definitely go back...

Always have a great time here there is something for everyone here. I always enjoy the tractor pulls on Sunday here. They also have all the animals for 4h and watching the kids show there animals is always a good time. Carnival games and rides so many food vendors and all the vendors set up to buy damn near anything. Kids love it adults do too they also...
