Smitty's Meat Market & Smokehouse — Local services in Tomball

First time visiting, and I was pleased from the moment I walked in! The smell inside was awesome, it reminded me of going to The Hunt Store when we would vacation in Hunt, Tx. when I was young (and still do) There were various assortment of items from sausage, boudin, brats, jerky, steak, brisket, etc etc! Oh and they also carry the best salsa and green sauce from Pain Train Salsa made right up the road, btw! Was greeted very nicely by employees there, I felt like family during my visit and even got to try some samples of jerky too! Came here to buy steaks for a family dinner and bought the Ribeye's which were cut Delmonico style, fresh and then neatly vacuum sealed. Needless to say my family was amazed and demanded that I tell them where i had gotten the steak, I just handed them some business cards. everyone just went on and on about the quality, taste and tenderness of the steaks..they literally melted in your mouth! Just FYI, earlier in July we had all eaten at an upscale steak house in the Woodlands way overpriced and their steaks tasted nowhere near the caliber of the ones I purchased here. As I was assured they would be by the butcher before I bought them, can't argue with that when you have a good product! I returned the very next day with my wife, and we purchased more jerky and got some slab bacon and summer sausage as well.She is hooked on the place now! Oh just a sentimental note they have REAL cane sugar sodas there as well, from Dublin,Tx.....I like to have an ice cold one while I place and wait for my order, call me sentimental, it reminds me of those times going into the gas stations in the hill country with my Grandfather. We've been loyal Smitty's Meat Market & Smokehouse customers for years, even before they moved to this fantastic new location. Beyond their top-notch processing, I love popping in to grab high-quality meat for a special family meal. My go-to is the porterhouse steak, if they’re in stock, they’re a must! But honestly, you can’t go wrong with any cut here.

Their hot dogs are next-level, no seriously; and the frozen hamburgers are so good my kids refuse anything else. Don’t sleep on the pizza sausage either, it’s a household favorite. The smoked bacon is a game-changer; just ask for it cut to your liking (medium for me!), and they’ll slice it fresh on the spot. Service is always friendly and accommodating.

For something truly special, try their Australian Wagyu, when available, the marbling is unreal. Smitty’s is a gem for meat lovers, and we’ll keep coming back for their unbeatable quality...

This place reminds me of the butcher shop that my Dad used to take me too when I was growing up. A place that you could have a conversation with the people there and they made you feel like you are one of their VIP customers. They have amazing snack stick sausage and waygu tomahawks. Pick up a couple of steaks to grille, some special seasoning, and a six pack of your favorite beverage. The team here really puts everything into the place and it shows.
