I would have given a BIG FAT ZERO Star rating, but the review system won't let me. SO, I clarify with this review. I went there to buy some fishing items and for 2 dozen medium sized minnows. The guy working there was the manager and took his sweet time in helping me. He appeared not to care that I needed assistance. Since I'm not that familiar with crappie size limits at Lake Shawnee, I asked the guy. Who, very abruptly, told me to wait, in a very nasty tone. I specifically asked for two dozen medium minnows and was given every size from miniature, to extra large.

The manager told me that I wasn't to come back with my bait bucket because it stank to bad. He said it was disgusting! I agreed it was pretty rank, and apologised, but he acted like an A$$ and said I would scare away the old ladies that come to the store, and I would ruin his business. He acted like he wanted to refuse service and throw me out.

What does this guy think he's running, a catering company to old ladies? Even my dead grandma know's fish can be stinky. What do you expect? A bottle of perfume? I wanted to knock the bait bucket over and let him clean it up!

Besides being an A$$-Hat, the manager doesn't need a stinky bait bucket to turn away customers, he can do that all by himself when opening his mouth trap. I would NOT RECOMMEND THE DOCK for all the money or FISH in the world!! Their tackle prices are unreasonably high, in addition.

Get your bait and tackle elsewhere!!!

And if 'YOU', the manager reads this, GO F Yourself. I won't be shopping at the Dock and at every chance will tell my fishing buddies and fishermen friends what a sorry place...

Excellent store for anglers. Staff is helpful and nice, plus they have a small but excellent selection of lures, live baits, cat baits, plastics and terminal. Rod and reel combos for more than a few methods of angling. Bait buckets and aeration devices. Pole holders, nets, wire baskets for livewells. Ice jigs are behind the counter by the live bait room door. It's the place to stop when you're in a rush and in need of fishing supplies, or you're just out cruising and need fuel for either you...

I will never do business at The Dock again. Every year I try getting a fishing license there I am told that the system is down. I find that to be quite a coincidence. When I asked the owner about the problem he proceeded to lecture me on when I should be buying my annual license. He was very rude and just wanted to argue with me. Terrible...
