Not impressed at all with this local family pizza place. I've eaten here a few times, and keep forgetting how it tastes in between and it must be because so much is wrong with the place I don't go back until I've forgotten about the last experience.
This time --- I was new to being a GrubHub+ member. GrubHub website has all over over it that Glory Days accepts/uses them. I called to place my order and first off in a not so nice tone was told "we don't take GrubHub, we don't use anyone but our own delivery drivers or pick up through our own app". I suggested they needed to fix the problem so future customers wouldn't have the same issue. I was rudely informed that I should call GrubHub!
Pizza itself -- Definitely not worth the price (over $100.00 for 3 pizzas and 2 deliver locations). I ended up calling back today because I questioned how spicy the sauce was (I had a pizza that supposedly has their basic house sauce). It was so spicy hot that I couldn't consume it. I called back to the establishment only to find out and confirm so that I knew in the future to stay away from the "house red" if I ever ate there again. The person I spoke with went into a diatribe of how it's made the same way every week several times and it never changes and that if it was the Buffalo hot sauce I would have known. This in effect ended the call to him. No "I'm sorry you didn't find it up to your standards" or , it was more like I was bothering him for doing business with them!
The only good compliment I have about this that the delivery time quoted was right on time.
Today's customer service really sucks and this was a perfect example of why people do write reviews and even get to the point of making their own at home. Who needs the expense when what you're paying for is supposedly good service/good flavor/hassle of cooking yourself and you definitely don't get at least 2 of those 3 3 things at this location/establishment. Going back to my grocery store bought...
Read moreCaprese pizza had maybe 2 diced pieces of tomato and 1 quarter inch square slice of basil per slice for about $25. Had it remade, as my other pizza sat in the warming oven. The remake still looked NOTHING like the menu image. Had a couple of partial slices of tomatoes and a leaf on most of the slices. Never saw the manager, they let the front staff tell me they'd remake it. I don't even know if the manager bothered to look at the returned pizza, sure didn't make any effort to communicate with me. I had Talked friends into ordering from them, won't ever order from them again. Friends didn't want to get pizza there because the last 3 times of getting their pizza, they were made wrong. Hard to believe others haven't had issues since this was 4 times in a row with sub-par pizzas. My fault for trying to believe it would be better this time. Picture of remake. This has color at least, the first one was basically all white with...
Read moreWent in for lunch for just pizza before the rush at 11:45. I thought If I order the lunch special pizza it would be faster or at least I would assume already made. After 20 minutes and other people getting their ordered pizza before that get there after me. She seemed surprised or forgot about me. The pizza then came out cold and by the time I left it took over a hour. Which I can get my family of 6 of us out of red lobster in a hour. So I was little disappointed and she seemed annoyed at me for asking about my order. Never got a sorry or apology for the wait. I was very nice and patient waiting. I did almost ask for my money back and about left the restaurant after waiting 30 minutes before my food. If my pizza had come out fresh and cooked, but cold pizza was very disappointing. I’ll go back again but it’s going to be awhile and probably not...
