This triple horror attraction is an absolute MUST for horror fans and Halloween lovers! The estate was the actual the set for the hell house llc movies, but it is so much more when seen in person! The actors performances were groundbreaking, I confidently say that they deliver a horrifyingly believable performance that most movies can’t even compare to. The costume and makeup design were beautifully crafted and professional. The owner Angie was very friendly and spent the time to ask us about our experience and explain the inner workings of everything that goes into this masterpiece of horror! They offer a challenging escape room that takes place is a super realistic terrifying shed that makes you feel like you’re in a movie, second a haunted corn maze which features all of the iconic horror figures and set pieces from your favorite scary movies, with breathtaking atmosphere to match! And last but not least a haunted walkthrough of the Waldorf estate, where you can see some of the set pieces and rooms where the movies were filmed. My review can’t describe or encompass the attention to detail that these amazing actors, artists and creators of this absolutely stunning experience. There are also vendors who sell beautiful works of art who are extremely friendly. Overall this may be my new favorite Halloween spot, and I feel I again have to mention the splendid acting performances that I’ve never quite seen even in cinema, which will make you feel as if you are in a bone chilling movie! Bravo! We will be back for sure! P.S. there is also a new event happening April 29th 2023where you can rent a space on the property overnight in one of the many locations to spend the night exploring the terrors with in the Waldorf estate, get your tickets before...
Read moreI seriously love this place! It is genuinely scary at times if you let yourself get into it, some of the actors are really good, and while you do inevitably have to wait in some lines it's never been too crazy crowded when we've been. We do the hotel haunted house here almost every Fall (some of the same characters are the same every year and though they do change it up, last year we thought we'd try another haunted attraction [also hotel themed!] for a change of pace but there weren't as many actors or maybe they were just too spread out and it wasn't quite as fun or exciting). Tried the "Terror in the Corn" also this year and so glad we did. Found myself separated from my group for a moment after a zombie chased me for what seemed like forever, haha. I dragged my teenage daughter up to the Poconos for less than a 36 hour total trip just so we could squeeze this into our busy schedule this year and neither of us regret it one bit. Hot tip- for the best scares you want to be in the very front of your group but you can also get some great scares if you're in...
Read moreWent here on a reccomendation from another haunt owner. ( the haunt i help build). Its ok For a cheaper priced haunt. The hotel portion really only had 1 actor that stood out. The first one/ bellhop. The rest was pretty cheezy. The out side portion had 4 scenes from movies/TV shows that NO ONE else utilizes and these were by far the best scenes!!!! I don't want to give away much so the staff will have to interpret it. Tombstone area actor from one of my favorite movies was outstanding, even the Maitland's made an appearance. Worshipping he who walks behind the rows was a first for me. Good job to the actors, but I would try to use more lines from the movie and maybe Malachi will visit. The building w the prop you go up steps into then down steps to the actor was interesting. And seeing and petting church was a different spin, but I missed Gage. Everything considered I am happy I finally got to experience this place. I reccomend it for nostalgia and laughs with some startle scares. It is worth the cost and the trip. Thanks for...
